There is a tricycle that has a fuel tank attached to the rear of the steering shaft cylinder and a driver's seat attached to the rear so as to be connected to the fuel tank. In this type of vehicle, when driving on rough terrain, the vehicle must violently shift its weight back and forth and left and right to maintain its balance. On the other hand, when installing a rear fender that crosses from side to side under the seat,
Since it is difficult to manufacture the rear fender and the fuel tank integrally, they have been formed separately. For this reason, a gap or a connection level difference inevitably occurs between the two, and when the weight shifts, clothing may get caught in the gap or the level difference, making it difficult to shift the weight. Therefore, it is conceivable to cover the entire fuel tank with the rear fender, but in this case, it becomes necessary to attach and detach the entire rear fender when refueling the fuel tank, resulting in a problem of poor workability.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a tricycle that can smoothly shift weight without getting clothes caught on the vehicle body even during intense weight shifts. Another object of the present invention is to provide a tricycle which allows easy refueling without the need for attaching and detaching the rear fender, and which prevents the rear fender from being deformed by the load of the driver's seat.

基づき、本発明を詳細に説明する。
In order to achieve this objective, the present invention forms a fuel tank cover that completely covers the fuel tank from above and is integral with the rear fender, thereby eliminating gaps and steps where clothes can be caught, and also uses the fuel tank itself as a fixing member for the rear fender. This makes it possible to firmly fix the rear fender without impairing the ease of attaching and removing the rear fender. That is, according to the present invention, this purpose is to connect a fuel tank located behind the steering shaft cylinder, a driver's seat attached to the fuel tank, and a pair of rear wheels that traverse left and right below the driver's seat. In the vehicle having a rear fender extending upward, a tank cover that covers the entire fuel tank from above is formed integrally with the rear fender and is fixed to the vehicle body frame, and a fuel filler port of the fuel tank is connected to the tank cover. This is achieved by a three-wheeled motor vehicle, characterized in that the bottom plate of the driver's seat is removably held on the vehicle body frame through an opening provided in the rear fender. The present invention will be explained in detail below based on the illustrated embodiments.

34 is a fuel tank made of synthetic resin, and is attached to the rear of the steering shaft cylinder 10 so as to straddle the main pipe 12. At the front end of this tank 34, as shown in FIGS. 3, 4, and 6, a pair of vertically long ribs 36, 36a,
36b is provided in a protruding manner, and a tongue portion 38 extending rearward substantially horizontally is formed at the rear end. A pipe 42 is horizontally fixed to the front lower part of the main pipe 12 by brackets 40, 40a, 40b.
There are two cushioning materials 44, 44 on both ends of 2, respectively.
a, 44b, 46, 46a, and 46b are retained. The ribs 3 of the tank 34 are attached to the outer cushioning material 46.
6 is fitted and held. Further, the rear end of the tank 34 is bolted together with a rear fender 50, which will be described later, near the rear end opening of the main pipe 12. Note that 48 in FIG. 3 is a buffer material interposed between the tank 34 and the main pipe 12.

50 is a rear fender. The rear fender 50 is integrally formed of synthetic resin so as to cover the left and right rear wheels 30, the seat rail 14, and the fuel tank 34 from above. The front end of the tank cover 51 that completely covers the fuel tank 34 from above wraps around the ribs 36 of the fuel tank 34 inward.
Engagement notches 52, 52a, 5 which are open at the bottom are provided here.
2b is formed (Figures 3 and 4). Notch 5
2 is aligned with the buffer material 44 inside the rib 36 from above, and is coupled to the buffer material 44 by pushing the tank cover 51 downward. The fuel filler port of the fuel tank 34 passes through the tank cover 51, and a cap is attached to the filler port from above the tank cover 51 (see FIGS. 3 and 4).

Reference numeral 60 denotes a vertically long straddle type driver's seat, the front part of which rises along the curved surface of the cover 51 so as to be smoothly connected to the tank cover 51. A hook portion 62 shown in FIG. 3 is protruded from the bottom plate near the center. The hook portion 62 faces the opening at the rear end of the main pipe 12 from the opening 50a provided in the rear fender 50, and by pressing the entire seat 60 against the tank cover 51 side, the tip of the hook portion 62 faces the main pipe 1.
It engages with the inner edge of the opening of No. 2.

As described above, in the present invention, since the tank cover that covers the fuel tank from above is integrally formed on the rear fender, there are no gaps or steps near the fuel tank that would trap clothing when shifting weight, and You can move smoothly. In addition, the fuel tank's filler port passes through the tank cover so that fuel can be directly supplied from the outside of the tank cover to the filler port, so there is no need to remove the entire rear fender when refueling, making refueling work easier. Further, since the driver's seat is removably attached to the vehicle body frame through the opening provided in the rear fender, the driver's seat can be firmly fixed to the vehicle body frame. Therefore, even if a large load is applied to the driver's seat, the rear fender is unlikely to deform.
