本考案は、三島柴胡のような薬草の栽培時に、
徒長する葉茎を水平方向または垂直方向に剪枝す
る薬草等の整枝機に関するものである。

うえ、水平刈りも刈取つた葉茎が株上に残り、そ
の後処理に多大の時間および労力を費す等の問題
点があつた。

部には、操作ハンドルを上下調節可能、かつ前後
反転可能に設けた整枝機において、
操作ハンドルとスイングアームとの間のフレー
ムパイプに設けた取付け金具に、送風機を備えた
バリカン式剪枝部を水平方向または垂直方向に着
脱可能に設け、バリカン式剪枝部を水平方向に装
着した状態で送風機の反対側端部に飛散防止板を
着脱可能に設けたことを特徴とするものである。

た葉茎は、水平刈りの場合でも送風機からの圧力
風および飛散防止板によつて畝通路部に整然と落
下させる。

説明する。
第1図において、符号1は垂直方向に設けたフ
レームパイプで、このフレームパイプ1の下端部
には、先端に走行車輪15を軸支したスイングア
ーム16の基端部が、取付け菊座17および固定
ナツト18を介して前後方向に回動可能に支持さ
れている。この車輪15は、フレームパイプ1に
対し常に進行方向前側に位置するように支持され
る。フレームパイプ1の中間位置には、取付台座
2が固設されており、この取付台座2の上方のフ
レームパイプ1上部に、操作ハンドル4が上下調
節および前後反転可能にスライド固定ねじ6によ
つて任意の位置に固定されている。
上記取付台座2には、剪枝部Aの取付ステー3
を水平方向または垂直方向に取付ける穴が水平
面、垂直面に穿設されており、固定ねじ5を介し
てそのいずれかに固定されるようになつている。
第1図に実線で示す状態が剪枝部Aを水平刈り状
態に固定する場合であり、これを一点鎖線で示す
ように固定すると、垂直刈り状態となる。垂直刈
り状態の際に注意すべき点は、車輪15は常に畝
通路側に位置し、刈刃9は植物の株側に位置する
ことが不可欠であり、このことから前述のように
車輪15の前後方向への転回が効果を発揮する。
剪枝部Aは、取付ステー3側に原動機7および
この原動機7により駆動される送風機8を一体的
に取付け、送風機8の下側には減速機、クランク
機構が装備され、前端縁に沿つて設けられたバリ
カン式の刈刃9を往復動させる構造となつてい
る。送風機8の吐出口は、圧力風が安定板10上
を長さ方向に吹抜けるよう開口しており、安定板
10の側端部には、角度調節用長穴11、固定金
具13、スライド固定ネジ6、調節ねじ14等に
より飛散防止板12を着脱自在、かつ回動自在に
装着している。
このような構成の整枝機においては、薬草を早
い時期に整枝する場合は、剪枝部Aを水平刈り状
態(第2図)にして上部を刈取るだけで足りる
が、薬草が成長してきた段階では畝通路まで張出
すので、通路を確保するうえからも両側部を刈取
る必要があり、この場合には剪枝部Aを垂直刈り
状態(第3図)にして、薬草の左右両側部をまず
刈取つて通路を確保し、次いで剪枝部Aを水平刈
り状態にして上部を刈取ることにより、整然とし
た整枝作業が実施できる。剪枝部Aの水平刈りと
垂直刈りとの切換えは、固定ねじ5により簡単に
行うことができる。
水平刈り状態の際には、送風機8から吹出され
る圧力風により、刈刃9によつて刈取られた葉茎
は安定板10上を反対側に吹き飛ばされ、飛散防
止板12に案内されて隣接する薬草の株上に乗る
ことなく畝間に放出される。また、垂直刈り状態
においては、刈取られた葉茎は直接畝間に落下し
て薬草の株上に乗ることはない。水平刈取りと垂
直刈りの切換えの際、車輪15をそれまでと反対
側に移動させ、操作ハンドル4は前後を反転させ
ればよい。
なお、本考案の整枝機は、薬草に限らず例えば
苗木列とか植木列等の整枝作業にも同様に使用す
ることができる。

能に設け、剪枝部を水平方向に装着した状態で送
風機の反対側端部に飛散防止板を着脱可能に設け
たので、剪枝部を車輪により支持しながら剪枝部
により水平刈り、垂直刈りを選択して行うことが
でき、しかも、水平刈りと垂直刈りの切切換えが
容易に行える。また、剪枝された葉枝は、水平刈
りの場合でも飛散防止板に案内されて畝間通路に
整然と落下させることができる。
