Abstract

PURPOSE:To confirm the range of the image pickup scene of a camera while securing a wide visual field and perspective, as it is, when the scene is picked up as an image with the camera fitted to a head part. CONSTITUTION:A transparent windshield 3 buried in a half mirror 8, is hung on a holding plate 2 holding a camera head 7a. When the holding plate 2 is fixed on the head part at a position where an eye is opposed to the half mirror 8, light from the above transmits a notch obtained by punching a mask plate 9 provided on a hood 2a and showing a picture frame, is reflected by the half mirror 8 of the lower side, and made incident on the eye of a photographer. On the other hand, the scene transmitting the transparent windshield 3 can be simultaneously, made visible, so that the picture frame reflected by the half mirror 8 and the scene can be overlapped.

2. Description of the Related Art In an apparatus for mounting a camera on a head and capturing an image of a scene, the photographer cannot see the scene actually captured by the camera because he cannot look into the viewfinder of the camera. There may be a composition mismatch between the scene that the person wants to capture and the scene that the camera captures.
There has been a demand for a means by which the photographer can confirm the range of the scene captured by the camera, which is necessary for determining the composition.

In order to solve the above-mentioned uncertainty, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 63-2
No. 84529 discloses a technique in which a scene imaged by a camera is projected on an optical viewfinder through an optical path formed by an optical fiber, and the viewfinder is arranged in front of one of the eyes of a photographer. The person can confirm the scene being imaged by the camera with one eye using the viewfinder, and can visually recognize the scene to be imaged with the other eye and the entire background.

However, according to the above-mentioned prior art, since the photographer sees the scene imaged by the viewfinder with one eye and the scene with the other person's direct view, the perspective of the scene is sensed. May not be obtained, and it may be dangerous especially when capturing an image while moving, and since the scene imaged in the viewfinder has a narrower angle of view than the field of view by direct view, the target object imaged in the viewfinder is When the camera suddenly jumps out of the imaging screen of the finder, it is difficult to find the target so that the target can enter the imaging screen of the finder again.

As shown in FIG. 3, the cylindrical lens 5 is embedded so as to penetrate through the inside surface of the windshield 3, that is, the surface facing the eyes to the outside surface, and the side end surface on the inside surface side is a convex lens surface.
5a is formed, and the side end surface on the outer side is a frosted glass finish matte surface 5b. At this time, as shown in FIG. 4, the cylindrical lenses 5 are arranged in combination so as to converge to the center of the eye. The screen frame is configured. Further, the substantially rectangular pyramid frustum formed by the four cylindrical lenses 5 makes the angle θ formed by two oblique sides that are not adjacent to each other coincide with the angle of view taken by the camera 1 in the film inside the camera 1. The rectangle formed by the matte surface 5b seen from the converged point coincides with the screen frame indicating the range of the scene photographed by the camera 1 on the film.

The camera 1 having the camera holding base 2 constructed as described above is put on the head, and as shown in FIG. 3, the eye position is placed at the point 0 where the cylindrical lens 5 forming the screen frame converges. Then, the head and the holding base 2 are fixed by the belt 6 while maintaining the position. At this time, in the eyes on the side where the cylindrical lens 5 is embedded in the windshield 3, a scene of direct vision is visually recognized through the windshield 3 except the portion where the cylindrical lens 5 is embedded, and the cylindrical lens 5 is further embedded. A rectangular frame formed by the matte surface 5b of the cylindrical lens, that is, a screen frame showing the range of the scene photographed by the camera 1 on the film is displayed on the above-mentioned direct-view scene through the above-mentioned portion, and is almost the same as the direct-view scene. Can be seen in degrees. With the other eye, the scene of direct vision can be visually recognized through the windshield, so that the photographer can always check the range photographed by the camera 1 without impairing the perspective while maintaining the visual field of both eyes. The composition of is obtained.

This embodiment is the same as the above embodiment except that the configuration of the windshield 3, the optical means and the screen frame is changed from the above embodiment. That is, in this embodiment, the eaves 2a of the holding table 2 is used.
A windshield 3 suspended from the windshield 3, and small projections 11 of a substantially right-angled triangle which are optical means attached to four locations near the one eye of the windshield 3 so as to show the vertices of a quadrangle. Four mask plates provided at predetermined positions of the holding table 2, that is, at positions where light from above is reflected by the small projections 11 and then incident on the eyes, and which are provided with "L" -shapes indicating the apexes of the screen frame. 12
A light-emitting body 13 for irradiating the mask plate 12 with light, a rod lens 14 for guiding the light emitted by the light-emitting body 13 and passing through the mask plate 12 to the small projections 11, and the others are the same as those in the above-described embodiment. At this time, the light-emitting body 13 illuminates the mask plate 12, and the light is transmitted only in the shape of "L" formed in the mask plate 12. The light transmitted through the mask plate 12 is introduced by the rod lens 14 directly below the mask plate 12 into the small projection 11 attached to the windshield 3, reflected by the slope of the small projection 11 and incident on the eyes of the photographer. The above action is caused by the mask plate 12 and the small projections 11 at the four places, and is visually recognized by the photographer as an "L" character indicating the four corners of the screen frame. This screen frame overlaps with the scene transmitted through the windshield 3, and the photographer can visually recognize the composition of the scene by superimposing the screen frame on the scene viewed directly.
