Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】 媒体に記録された情報または通信により伝達
される情報が不正使用されることを防止可能な情報記録
システム及び情報通信システムを提供する。 【構成】 暗号化情報を第１の記録部に記録する記録媒
体に設けられた光学アクセス可能な第２の記録部に上記
暗号化情報の復号情報を記録し、リーダにて各情報を読
出し、再生する構成とすることで、または送信器からの
暗号化情報を受信する受信手段の作動キー手段が、その
復号化情報を記録すると共に光学アクセス可能な情報記
録部を有し、かつ受信手段が作動キー手段に記録された
復号化情報を読出すための光学的読出手段を有する構成
とすることで、不正行為を行うためには高価な光学シス
テムを用いて複雑な光学的情報の内容を解析しなければ
ならない。また記録方式はそのシステムでのみ機能すれ
ば良いため、例えば独自の記録方式を使用すれば不正行
為は不可能となる。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は情報記録システム及び情
報通信システムに関し、特にこれらシステムに於ける情
報のセキュリティーに関するものである。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】従来から、例えばフレキシブルディスク
などの媒体に記録されたプログラムなどが解析されて複
製されたり、デッドコピーされることにより不正に使用
されることを防止するべく、様々な防護手段が採用され
てきた。これは読取り装置にて、プログラムの実行以外
の例えばコピーコマンドなどが行われた場合にこれを条
件としてディスクに対するアクセスを禁止したり、コピ
ー中のプログラムの内容を書き換えたりするものであっ
た。
【０００３】しかしながら、実際には上記構造にあって
も媒体内の記録情報の解析を完全に阻止することはでき
ないばかりでなく強制的なデッドコピーを防止すること
はできなかった。しかも、これらの不正行為は、例えば
上記フレキシブルディスクでは比較的安価な磁気リーダ
ライタで容易に行うことが可能であった。また、上記問
題はプログラムを記録している媒体のみに限らず、各種
データを記録している媒体の場合も同様である。
【０００４】一方、上記したような不正行為は情報を送
信器から受信器に通信により伝達する場合にも、通信内
容を傍受したり、受信器を正規の使用者以外の者が使用
することにより行われる。そこで、通信内容を暗号化し
たり、キーなどにより受信器の使用者を制限することが
考えられる。
【０００５】しかしながら、キーは容易に複製可能であ
ることからキーを複製された場合には上記受信器の不正
を防止することはできない。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】本発明は、上記したよ
うな従来技術の問題点に鑑みなされたものであり、その
主な目的は、媒体に記録された情報若しくは通信により
伝達される情報が不正使用されることを防止することが
できる情報記録システム及び情報通信システムを提供す
ることにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】上述した目的は本発明に
よれば、記録媒体にライタをもって情報を書込み、この
記録された情報をリーダをもって読出す情報記録システ
ムであって、前記記録媒体が、暗号化された情報を記録
するための第１の情報記録部と、前記暗号化された情報
を復号するための情報を記録する前記第１の情報記録部
と異なる第２の情報記録部とを有し、前記ライタが、前
記第１の情報記録部に記録される情報を暗号化する手段
を有し、前記リーダが、前記第２の情報記録部に光学的
にアクセスして前記復号情報を読出す読出手段と、前記
読出された復号情報に基づき前記暗号化情報を復号する
手段とを有し、前記ライタにて暗号化された情報を第１
の情報記録部に記録し、これを前記リーダにて前記第２
の情報記録部に記録れた復号情報に基づき復号して出力
することを特徴とする情報記録システム、及び送信手段
から受信手段に情報を伝達してこれを出力するための情
報通信システムであって、情報を暗号化するべく前記送
信手段に設けられた暗号化手段と、前記暗号化された情
報を復号するための情報を記録すると共に光学的にアク
セス可能な情報記録部を有する作動キー手段と、前記情
報記録部に光学的にアクセスして前記復号情報を読出す
べく前記受信手段に設けられた読出手段と、前記読出さ
れた復号情報に基づき前記暗号化情報を復号するべく前
記受信手段に設けられた復号手段とを有し、前記送信手
段にて暗号化され、送信された情報を前記受信手段にて
受信し、これを前記復号情報に基づき前記復号手段にて
復号して出力することを特徴とする情報通信システムを
提供することにより達成される。

【作用】このようにすれば、不正行為を行わんとする者
は複雑な光学的情報記録部の内容を解析、偽造するため
に高価な光学的情報記録システムを使用しなければなら
ず、また、その光学的情報記録方式は、正規のシステム
でのみ機能すれば良く規格化する必要がないため内容を
複雑化することが可能である。

【実施例】以下、本発明の好適実施例を添付の図面につ
いて詳しく説明する。
【００１０】図１は、本発明が適用された第１の実施例
を示す情報記録システムとしての磁気フレキシブルディ
スク１及びそのリーダライタ２を示す。
【００１１】フレキシブルディスク１は第１の記録部と
しての磁気ディスク３と、その外側を覆うケース４とを
有している。ケース４の表面の一部には、磁気ディスク
３とは別に後記するリーダライタ２内の光学読取部７に
より読出し可能な第２の記録部５が設けられている。
【００１２】図２に示すように、第２の記録部５は反射
型ホログラムからなり、フレキシブルディスク１のリー
ダライタ２への差し込み方向に順番に配列された４つの
領域５ａ、５ｂ、５ｃ、５ｄから構成されている。これ
ら各領域５ａ、５ｂ、５ｃ、５ｄは、後記する光学読取
部７の光源９から照射された光を固有の回折特性をもっ
て反射するようになっている。
【００１３】一方、リーダライタ２は、図示されないコ
ンピュータに制御されて上記第２の記録部５に記録され
たデータに基づき平文データを上記磁気ディスク３に暗
号化して書込み可能な磁気読取／書込部６と、上記第２
の記録部５に光学的にアクセスするための光学読取部７
とを有している。この光学読取部７は、フレキシブルデ
ィスク１がリーダライタ２にセットされる際に第２の記
録部５の各領域５ａ、５ｂ、５ｃ、５ｄに順番に対向す
る光学ヘッド８を有している。図３に示すように、光学
ヘッド８は、その中央部のレーザ光源９と、該レーザ光
源９の周囲を囲繞するように環状に設けられた８分割フ
ォトダイオード１０とから構成されている。ここで、上
記第２の記録部５の各領域５ａ、５ｂ、５ｃ、５ｄは、
レーザ光源９から照射された光をこの８分割フォトダイ
オード１０のいずれか１箇所若しくは複数箇所の分割部
分に選択的に反射するようになっている。これにより、
各領域５ａ、５ｂ、５ｃ、５ｄが光学ヘッド８に順番に
対向して得られる８分割フォトダイオード１０の受光パ
ターンから各々例えば４ビットづつのデジタルデータが
得られることとなる。
【００１４】尚、フレキシブルディスク１の磁気ディス
ク３に記録された磁気データは、上記同様の構成のリー
ダライタにより第２の記録部５に記録されたデータによ
り復号可能なように暗号化されている。従って、第２の
記録部５に記録されたデータを読込まなければ、磁気デ
ィスク３に記録された磁気データを利用することができ
ないようになっている。
【００１５】以下に本実施例の作動要領について図４の
フローチャートを参照して説明する。まず、ステップ１
にてフレキシブルディスク１がリーダライタ２にセット
されると、ステップ２に進み、光学読取部７の光学ヘッ
ド８が第２の記録部５に順番に光学的にアクセスし、そ
の記録された光学データを読出す。次にステップ３に進
み、磁気ディスク３に記録されたＩＤデータを読出し、
ステップ４にて光学データ及び磁気データによるＩＤの
照合を行い、この時点で正規のフレキシブルディスクで
ないと判別されたらステップ５に進み、エラー信号の出
力、またはエラー表示を行い、この処理を終了する。
【００１６】一方、ステップ４にてフレキシブルディス
ク１が正規のフレキシブルディスクであると判別された
らステップ６に進み、磁気ディスク３に記録された暗号
化情報を読出し、ステップ７にて上記光学データを基に
復号化処理を行い、ステップ８に進んで平文データとし
て図示されないコンピュータ等に出力し、処理を終了す
る。
【００１７】図５は、本発明が適用された第２の実施例
を示す情報通信システムに於ける送受信器１１及び作動
キー手段としてのＩＤカード１２を示す。操作者はこの
ＩＤカード１２を送受信器１１のスロット１３にセット
することにより該送受信器１１を使用可能となる。
【００１８】図６に示すように、ＩＤカード１２は、そ
の一方の長辺側に偏った位置に該カードの進行方向に延
在する通常の磁気ストライプからなる記録部１３と、該
カードの１つの隅部近傍に設けられた第１の実施例に於
ける第２の記録部と同様な記録部１５とを有している。
記録部１５には第１の実施例と同様に光学的に読出し可
能に復号情報が記録されている。
【００１９】送受信器１１は、通常の通信処理回路（図
示せず）以外に上記記録部１５に光学的にアクセスする
ための光学読取部１７を有している。この光学読取部１
７は、ＩＤカード１２が送受信器１１にセットされる際
に記録部１５の各領域１５ａ、１５ｂ、１５ｃ、１５ｄ
に順番に対向する第１の実施例と同様な光学ヘッド１８
を有している。ここで、上記記録部１５の各領域１５
ａ、１５ｂ、１５ｃ、１５ｄと光学ヘッド１８との関係
は第１の実施例と同様であるのでその説明を省略する。
【００２０】尚、本実施例では別の送受信器から送信さ
れたデータが、記録部１５に記録されたデータにより復
号可能なように暗号化されている。従って、記録部１５
に記録されたデータを読出さなければ、受信データを利
用することができないようになっている。
【００２１】以下に本実施例の作動要領について図７の
フローチャートを参照して説明する。まず、ステップ１
１にてＩＤカード１２が送受信器１１にセットされる
と、ステップ１２に進み、ＩＤカード１２の記録部１５
に光学ヘッド１８が順番に光学的にアクセスし、その記
録された光学データを読出す。次にステップ１３に進
み、磁気記録部１３に記録されたＩＤデータを読出し、
ステップ１４にて図示されないキーボードなどから暗唱
番号を入力し、ステップ１５にて光学データ及び磁気デ
ータによるＩＤの照合を行い、この時点で正規のＩＤカ
ードでないと判別されたらステップ１６に進み、エラー
信号の出力、またはエラー表示を行い、この処理を終了
する。
【００２２】一方、ステップ１５にてＩＤカード１２が
正規のＩＤカードであると判別されたらステップ１７に
進み、送信であるか受信であるかを判別し、送信であれ
ばステップ１８に進み送信データを入力した後、ステッ
プ１９にて記録部１５に記録された光学データに基づき
データを暗号化し、ステップ２０にて実際に送信を行
い、処理を終了する。また、ステップ１７にて受信であ
ればステップ２１に進みデータを受信した後、ステップ
２２にて記録部１５に記録された光学データに基づきデ
ータを復号化し、ステップ２３にて平文データとして出
力して処理を終了する。
【００２３】尚、上記実施例に於ては作動キー手段をＩ
Ｄカードとしたが、図８に示すようにＩＤキー２２と
し、通常のメカニカルキー部１３と、該キーの一方の面
に上記第１、第２の実施例と同様な光学記録部２５とを
設けても同様な効果を得られることは云うまでもない。
また、通信形式としては通常の無線によるデジタル通
信、モデムを用いた公衆回線によるデジタル通信、ファ
クシミリ通信、コンピュータ間のオンライン接続（ホス
ト、端末間を含む）など、通信データを暗号化可能な通
信であれば良い。
【００２４】更に、第１の実施例に於ては媒体を磁気フ
レキシブルディスクとしたが、光ディスク、光磁気ディ
スク、光カード、ＩＣカード、磁気カード、磁気テープ
など記録データを暗号化可能なものであれば良いことは
云うまでもない。

【発明の効果】以上の説明により明らかなように、本発
明による情報記録システム及び情報通信システムによれ
ば、暗号化された情報を第１の記録部に記録する記録媒
体に設けられた光学的にアクセス可能な第２の記録部に
上記暗号化情報の復号情報を記録し、リーダにて各情報
を読出し、再生する構成とすることで、また、送信器か
ら送られた暗号化情報を受信する受信手段の作動キー手
段が、暗号化情報の復号情報を記録すると共に光学的に
アクセス可能な情報記録部を有し、かつ受信手段が、作
動キー手段に記録された復号情報を読出すための光学的
読出手段を有する構成とすることで、不正行為を行わん
とする者は複雑な光学的情報記録部の内容を解析、偽造
するために高価な光学的情報記録システムを使用しなけ
ればならず、また、その光学的情報記録方式は、そのシ
ステムでのみ機能すれば規格化する必要がないため、例
えば内容を複雑化することが可能であることから、独自
の記録方式を使用すれば不正行為は不可能となる。以上
のことから本発明の効果は大である。

Claims (3)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 記録媒体にライタをもって情報を書込
    み、この記録された情報をリーダをもって読出す情報記
    録システムであって、 前記記録媒体が、暗号化された情報を記録するための第
    １の情報記録部と、前記暗号化された情報を復号するた
    めの情報を記録する前記第１の情報記録部と異なる第２
    の情報記録部とを有し、 前記ライタが、前記第１の情報記録部に記録される情報
    を暗号化する手段を有し、 前記リーダが、前記第２の情報記録部に光学的にアクセ
    スして前記復号情報を読出す読出手段と、前記読出され
    た復号情報に基づき前記暗号化情報を復号する手段とを
    有し、 前記ライタにて暗号化された情報を第１の情報記録部に
    記録し、これを前記リーダにて前記第２の情報記録部に
    記録れた復号情報に基づき復号して出力することを特徴
    とする情報記録システム。
  2. 【請求項２】 前記前記第２の情報記録部が、該記録
    部に照射した光を選択的に特定方向へ回折、特定方向へ
    反射、若しくはその偏光方向を回転することにより情報
    を表現する複数の領域から構成されることを特徴とする
    請求項１に記載の情報記録システム。
  3. 【請求項３】 送信手段から受信手段に情報を伝達し
    てこれを出力するための情報通信システムであって、 情報を暗号化するべく前記送信手段に設けられた暗号化
    手段と、 前記暗号化された情報を復号するための情報を記録する
    と共に光学的にアクセス可能な情報記録部を有する作動
    キー手段と、 前記情報記録部に光学的にアクセスして前記復号情報を
    読出すべく前記受信手段に設けられた読出手段と、 前記読出された復号情報に基づき前記暗号化情報を復号
    するべく前記受信手段に設けられた復号手段とを有し、 前記送信手段にて暗号化され、送信された情報を前記受
    信手段にて受信し、これを前記復号情報に基づき前記復
    号手段にて復号して出力することを特徴とする情報通信
    システム。
