Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure a positioning and aligning operation by a method wherein a groove block is fixed on one device and a pin block is fixed on the other device for the connection of both the devices, and a positioning groove is vertically provided in the groove block. CONSTITUTION:A separate-type clamping device is conneted to an injection device 2 through connectors 3. A groove block 8 is provided on a base 6 of the vertical clamping device 1. A pin block 9 is provided on a base 7 of the injection device 2 so as to positionally correspond to the groove block. A positioning groove 10 long in a vertical direction is perpendicularly provided in the groove block 8 with an accurate groove width. A positioning pin 12 having the same width as the groove width is projected on the pin block 9. When both the devices 1, 2 are connected to each other, the positioning pin 12 is fitted into the positioning groove 10 for a proper alignment, and both the devices 1, 2 are connected to each other with the connectors 3. Therefore, the separate-type clamping device 1 can be aligned and connected with the injection device 2 in a simple manner.
