Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an octopus tube for transfusion liquid setting with which the wall at a part of a protrusion can be pierced by an injection needle, which is free from fear of liquid leakage because of forming the wall with a mixed injection member made of a material having self-sealing property against piercing, and which can be furnished internally with a filtration member. CONSTITUTION:A mixed injection part 6 made of a resilient material is formed in a single piece construction in the middle of the over-part of an air sump 1 of an octopus tube for liquid transfusion. This tube is fabricated by butting butt members 4, 5 in the form divided fore and aft by an opening through the mixed injection member 6 which can be pierced and has a self-sealing property, and a resin part 7 is formed by spouting plastics to the contacting part of the butt members 4, 5 with the mixed injection member 6 so as to consolidate them. Consolidating in this manner using a synthetic resin eliminates risk of causing liquid leakage. This constitution also lessens the number of parts constituting a liquid transfusion set, which allows suppressing the manufacturing costs.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Infusion sets consist of bottle needles, drip tubes, tubes,
Made by connecting rubber tube, octopus tube, venous needle, etc.,
The tube is equipped with a clamp for adjusting the flow rate. The octopus tube is used to prevent air bubbles mixed in the infusion from entering the body, an air reservoir is provided in the center, and both ends are connected to a rubber tube and a venous needle, respectively. A connecting portion is formed. Therefore,
The octopus tube has a thin shape at both ends and a thick center. On the other hand, some infusion sets are connected with mixed injection parts for mixed injection of other drugs, but mixed injection may be performed using a rubber tube. [Purpose] If a mixed injection part is connected to an infusion set or a rubber tube is provided, the number of parts will increase and the manufacturing cost will increase. Also, since rubber contains a large amount of eluate, it is better to use as little rubber as possible in terms of safety. Further, as disclosed in the above-mentioned utility model publication, the method of fitting the rubber cap to the tacho tube has a problem in practical use because liquid may leak from the fitted portion or the rubber cap may come off. The present invention aims to solve the problems of the prior art described above.

As described above, the mixed injection portion of the infusion taco tube of the present invention is made of a material capable of puncturing a part of the wall of the air reservoir projection portion with an injection needle and having a self-sealing property against the puncture. Since it is provided by doing so, a medical liquid, such as a cardiotonic agent, can be easily co-injected by puncturing the portion with an injection needle, and there is no risk of liquid leakage even if the needle is pulled out after the co-injection. Further, by providing a synthetic resin layer on the periphery of the mixed injection part, liquid leakage can be prevented. The location where the mixed injection portion is provided is preferably the upper portion of the air reservoir protruding portion,
It can also be provided at other positions. The shape and size of the mixed injection portion are not particularly limited as long as the injection needle can be punctured.

In the method for manufacturing an octopus tube for infusion according to the present invention, an elastic material member piece capable of being punctured by an injection needle forming a mixed injection member and capable of self-sealing the butt member. It is preferable to butt them in the mold through the above, and then to inject the synthetic resin into the contact portion of the member piece to cover the entire circumference of the contact portion. Further, it is preferable that the joint portion between the two butt members and the mixed injection member has an engaging structure by a step portion provided on each of them, since both members are integrated more stably. Of course, the abutting operation is not limited to that performed in the mold, and may be performed outside the mold. In this case, other means for integrating the abutting portion with synthetic resin may be used. The known coating method of, for example, a coating method of a molten synthetic resin or a synthetic resin solution, etc. can be adopted. Further, it is preferable that the covering with the synthetic resin is performed not only on the abutting portion of the mixed injection member but also on the abutting portion, particularly the entire circumference thereof, by the two abutting members.

The elastic material member piece which can be punctured by the injection needle forming the mixed injection member used for manufacturing the infusion taco tube of the present invention and which has self-sealing property against the puncture is made by punching out an elastic material, for example. Alternatively, in the case of a material that can be injection-molded, it can be manufactured by injection molding, but it may be manufactured in a mold during the manufacturing process of an infusion taco tube. That is, the mixed injection part may be formed by injecting a material having a self-sealing property into the opening of the air reservoir protruding part formed by abutting the members in a mold. In this case as well, in order to more firmly integrate the mixed injection part and the air reservoir protruding part, it is preferable to inject the synthetic resin into the abutting part of the both parts to cover the entire circumference thereof. As the injection resin used for coating the contact portion, polyethylene and polypropylene are preferable as in the tacho tube body.

One of the advantages of the method for producing an infusion taco tube according to the present invention is that both members of the abutting member are wide open, so that the filtering member is inserted from this portion and fixed therein. You can As the filter member, a mesh body made of nylon or polyester is preferable, but those made of other materials can also be used. The filtering member is cut so as to conform to the shape of the fixing portion, and is supported so as to abut against the inside of the abutting member, for example, a step portion is provided inside the member, and the abutting portion is supported so as to abut there. For example, if the material can be welded, it may be fixed by a heat welding method or an ultrasonic welding method.
