[Detailed description of the invention] [Industrial application field] The present invention is designed to prevent adhesive films from mutually touching each other when used (applied) to medical adhesive dressings, such as surgical drapes, trauma dressings, bandages, etc. This invention relates to the structure of a medical adhesive dressing that prevents entanglement and is easy to handle.

In the medical field, relatively thin, breathable films (such as polyurethane films) coated with an adhesive on one side are used for treating wounds and fixing catheters and the like on the skin. The film used for this is generally a thin film of 50 microns or less, and when the release paper that protects the adhesive is removed, the adhesive side becomes entangled with each other because the film is flexible.
It is extremely difficult to apply the adhesive neatly on the skin without causing wrinkles. For this reason, medical adhesive covering materials with various improvements have already been devised.

For example, in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 62-87624, a release paper is attached to the adhesive layer of an adhesive film, and a mount is attached to the other side, and the adhesive force between the adhesive layer and the release paper is the same as that between the film and the mount. An adhesive sheet is disclosed in which the adhesive force is smaller than that of the adhesive sheet, and the release paper is first peeled off and the adhesive sheet is applied onto the skin, and then the backing paper is peeled off. In this case, the thin film is attached to the mount, so
Although the film does not wrinkle or the adhesive surfaces stick to each other, it is inconvenient as a medical coating. In other words, when used to fix wounds on the human body or catheters, even though a thin, flexible and stretchable film is used, the stiffness of the mount reduces its flexibility, resulting in uneven wound areas. It is rather inconvenient to paste it on the etc.

Furthermore, in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 62-42816, the above-mentioned mount is divided into a central part and an edge part, and the central part is first peeled off to leave the edge mount, and then the release paper is peeled off. A configuration is disclosed in which the edge mount is peeled off after application. A similar device is published in JP-A No. 47-115480.
It is also disclosed in the publication. However, after peeling off the release paper, these dressings are generally applied to the wound by pinching both ends with both hands and applying tension to the adhesive film. Hands inevitably come into contact with
There is a risk of bacterial contamination. Furthermore, since the adhesive force of the mount to the film is greater than the adhesive force of the release paper, the thin film tends to wrinkle when the central mount is peeled off, and it has to be removed carefully.

The present invention has been developed in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and is capable of smoothly applying an adhesive film to the skin without causing wrinkles due to thin adhesive films getting entangled with each other. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a medical covering material that can be handled hygienically without having to directly touch the agent.

In order to achieve the above object, in the present invention, the entire surface of the adhesive film having the adhesive layer is covered with two release papers that are removable and are adjacent to each other in one direction. The sides have tabs that extend toward the opposing release paper sides, or the edges of each adjacent side are in close contact, and the other side of the adhesive film has two pieces of release paper on the adjacent sides. It is a structure in which tape-shaped reinforcing paper is attached to both sides of the film edge in a direction perpendicular to the direction, and both end sides of the structure are attached to the release paper side along the direction of the adjacent sides of the release paper. It consists of being folded with the inside facing out. Further, the tape-shaped reinforcing mount may be extended in the long side direction, folded back, and bonded or connected to a release paper.

The release papers 4a and 4b are preferably papers whose surfaces have been subjected to a release treatment using paraffin, silicone oil, etc., and are somewhat stiff and hard.
Further, the release paper may be paper because it is inexpensive, but it may also be composed of a synthetic resin film. In the case of a synthetic resin film, as long as it has mold releasability from the adhesive layer 3, the surface mold release treatment described above does not necessarily need to be performed. Two peelable release papers 4a and 4b adjacent to each other in one direction are pasted over the entire surface of the adhesive layer 3 to protect the adhesive, and the release papers are mutually extended on the adjacent sides to prevent pinching. 5a, 5b

When applying this medical adhesive dressing to the skin surface, first hold the release paper tabs 5a and 5b in your hands and peel off the release papers 4a and 4b from the adhesive film 1 to the lines of the sides 7a and 7b. , the state is set as shown in FIG. In this case, the four sides of the adhesive film 1 are the parts of the release papers 4a and 4b that have not been peeled off yet and the tape-shaped reinforcing paper 6a and 6b.
Even if the film 2 is ultra-thin with a thickness of 50 microns or less, the film will not roll up or become tangled. In addition, it is applied to the skin surface of the affected area in the state shown in Figure 3. At this time, the central part of the adhesive film 1 allows the position of the affected area to be observed and confirmed through the film, and the advantage is that it can be applied in precisely aligned position. There is. After pasting it on the affected area, the remaining parts of the release papers 4a and 4b are peeled off and the entire adhesive film 1 is pasted on the skin surface. Then, when the tape-shaped reinforcing sheets 8a and 8b are peeled off, the adhesive film 1 becomes beautiful without wrinkles. can be pasted. In particular, it is possible to provide a medical adhesive covering material that is easy to handle when applied over a catheter inserted into an affected area.

FIG. 4 is a diagram showing another embodiment.
FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view at a location corresponding to line A'. The difference from the example shown in FIG. 2 is that the tape-shaped reinforcing mount 6a
and 6b are extended in the long side direction, and the ends of the folded portions 9a and 9b are bonded or connected to the release papers 4a and 4b, respectively. In this case, when the release papers 4a and 4b are completely peeled off after being pasted on the skin surface of the affected area as described above, since they are connected to the tape-like reinforcing mount, it is not possible to peel off both in succession. This has the advantage of providing a medical adhesive dressing that is extremely convenient for medical personnel.

5 and 6 show still another embodiment of the present invention, in which the release paper is divided into two pieces of release paper 4 with a cut 8.
It differs from the example shown in FIG. 1 in that it is divided into parts a and 4b, and the ends of each adjacent side are in close contact with each other, and there is no tab. Such a configuration has the advantage of being inexpensive to manufacture, and has the same advantages and features in use as the previous example. Furthermore, it may be more convenient to extend the tape-shaped reinforcing mounts 6a, 6b in the long side direction, fold them back at the edges of the adhesive sheet 1, and connect them to the release papers 4a, 4b as shown in FIG. The same is true.

[Effect of the invention] The adhesive covering material of this invention with the above structure first peels off two release papers from adjacent parts to expose the adhesive layer at the center of the film, and then attaches a reinforcing backing paper together with the peeled release papers. The adhesive film is held in the hand and applied to the wound site on the human body, but at this time, both edges from the folded point are reinforced with the remaining release paper, and the other edges are reinforced with tape-shaped reinforcing paper. There is. That is, since the four edges of the adhesive film are reinforced like a window frame, the drawback that thin adhesive films become entangled with each other and cause irritation is eliminated. Next, by peeling off the release paper at both ends and pasting the exposed adhesive film, and further peeling off the tape-like reinforcing paper, the adhesive covering material is produced with less wrinkles, etc. when applied, and without failures in pasting.
In addition, with adhesive covering materials in which the folded part of the reinforcing mount is bonded or connected to the release paper, after application, the reinforcing mount can be removed at the same time as the release paper is peeled off, making the application process more efficient. can.
