2. Description of the Related Art The exterior of a floppy disk is generally called a jacket and is made of vinyl chloride or ABS resin, and a non-woven liner is attached to the inside thereof. The liner wipes the floppy disc and blocks direct contact with the jacket to prevent damage to the floppy disc. Therefore, the performance required as a liner for a floppy disc jacket is the cleaning property and the protective property of the floppy disc, and various liners have been conventionally proposed for the purpose of improving them.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made to solve the above problems, in which a non-thermoplastic fiber is mainly arranged in an outer layer part and a heat-adhesive synthetic fiber is contained in an inner layer part. In a non-woven fabric, a floppy disk characterized in that the inner layer part contains other synthetic fibers that are electrostatically charged together with the thermoadhesive synthetic fibers, or the thermoadhesive synthetic fibers themselves are electrostatically charged. The gist is a liner for a jacket.

The present invention will be described in more detail. Since the outer layer portion of the liner according to the present invention is the portion that directly contacts the disc, only non-thermoplastic fibers, particularly rayon fibers having excellent flexibility are used. It is most preferable to be composed of, but other fibers may be contained to the extent that they do not adversely affect the disc.

The inner layer forming the basis of the present invention has heat-adhesive fibers for maintaining its shape as a liner and static electricity for firmly capturing dust scraped from the disk surface inside the liner. The presence of a synthetic fiber that is electrically charged to the inner surface is indispensable, but if the heat-adhesive fiber itself is charged with sufficient static electricity to firmly trap the dust inside the liner, another electrostatic charging composition Fiber is not particularly necessary.

(Example 1) Rayon fibers (1.5 denier x 51 mm) were used as the base fibers, and polypropylene fibers (1.5 denier) were used as the heat-adhesive fibers (also serving as electrostatically charged fibers). X 51 mm) was used to form a five-layer web having a basis weight of 27 g / m 2 with a card machine in which five units were arranged in series. The structure of this five-layer web is such that the first and fifth layers are made of 100% rayon fiber, and the second, third and fourth layers are made of 70% rayon fiber and 30% polypropylene fiber. It was a web. The obtained five-layer web is embossed with an embossing roller having a surface temperature of 220 ° C., partially thermocompressed, and then applied with a voltage of −25 KV to 15 needle electrodes placed about 10 cm above. The charging process was performed using corona. Dust generated by ultrasonically vibrating the cut end of the obtained liner was collected, and the number was measured by an air particle counter. The results are shown in Table 1.

According to the present invention configured as described above,
Since there are electrostatically charged synthetic fibers in the inner layer, the liner
It prevents the dust that had previously adhered to the surface of the constituent fibers from falling off, and also firmly captures the dust scraped from the disk surface inside the liner to prevent the dust from falling off, thus exhibiting excellent cleaning performance. There are advantages.
