Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a wire connected with a press contact terminal on the bottom wall of a lower case from falling off by inserting a wire holding board having a press contact hole provided with a wire holding protrusion slidingly in the guide groove made in the upper case of a flat interconnection circuit body comprising the upper and lower cases and a connector. CONSTITUTION:Low side walls 13b are planted on the bottom wall 13a of a lower case 13 on the opposite sides thereof and a connector 5 is coupled resiliently through a flexible band part 13c so that the connector 5 can displace freely back and forth and right and left. Internal and external wirings extending from the connector 5 are brought through a press contact hole 14a of the upper case 14 into press contact with the slots of a plurality of press contact terminals 16 fixed to the bottom wall 13a at predetermined positions thereof. A wire holding board 15 is then inserted slidingly into guide grooves on the opposite sides of the upper case 14. The wire holding board 15 is provided with a press contact window 15a, an air gap part 15c, a tapered end part 15e, and a wire holding protrusion 15d having a ridge part 15f on the rear surface, which correspond to the press contact hole 14a of the upper case 14 thus retaining the wires by means of the press contact terminals 16. According to the constitution, productivity can be enhanced with reduced number of components.

In the above-mentioned electrical connection, the coated electric wire is simply mechanically press-fitted into the slot of the press-connecting terminal portion, so that the coated electric wire may fall off from the press-connecting terminal due to mechanical vibration or the like. .. So, in the conventional case like this,
It has been proposed to prevent the electric wire 7 press-fitted into the slot 12a from falling off by combining a compression fitting 11 and a pressure contact terminal 12 as shown in FIGS. 11 and 12 (Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 56-1368).

The structure of the compression fitting 11 is such that the compression fitting fixing notch 11 is provided on the upper portion of the compression contact terminal compression parts 11a and 11a '.
b and 11b 'are provided, and the fixing projections 12b and 12b' of the press-contact terminal 12 into which the covered electric wire 7 is press-fitted are fitted and fixed to the compression fitting fixing notches 11b and 11b '. We are trying to prevent 7 from falling off.

However, when the compression fitting 11 is put on the press contact terminal 12 into which the covered electric wire 7 is press-fitted, the fixing projections 12b and 12b 'of the press contact terminal are pressed into the press contact terminal compressing portions 11a and 11b.
The slot 12a is compressed by contacting a'and the covered electric wire 7
, But as shown in FIG. 12, the fixing projection 12
b and 12b 'are notches 11b and 11b' for fixing compression fittings
When it is fitted in, the compressed slot 12a acts in the opposite direction in a slightly opening direction, so that there is a drawback that the press-fitted covered electric wire 7 is easily loosened.

In the above description, the pressure contact terminal 16 is directly fixed to the bottom wall 13a of the lower case 13 by the locking holes 13d and the locking claws 16d, but the lower case 13 has a plurality of locking holes 13d. The provided insulating support plate (not shown) may be attached, or the lower case 13 may have a double structure having an insole, and the locking hole 13d may be provided in the insole. Further, as the internal circuit conductor and the connector terminal of the relay circuit body A, instead of the pressure contact terminal 16, the covered electric wire 7 and the connector terminal 17, the tab 4a and the pressure contact terminal portion 4 shown in FIG.
The junction bar 4 provided with b can be used. Furthermore, it is possible to use a printed wiring board having a conventional structure as the internal circuit conductor of the relay circuit body. In this case, for example, a pressure contact terminal 16 without the inner wire pressure contact portion 16c is used and locked. The claw 16d may be connected to the circuit of the printed wiring board by soldering or the like.

According to the present invention, a plurality of covered electric wires press-fitted into the slots of the press-contact terminal or the press-contact terminal of the junction bar forming the internal circuit conductor are provided on the wire holding plate assembled in the upper case. It can be pressed down by multiple wire holding projections at the same time, and the holding function can be achieved by simply sliding the wire holding plate. It is not necessary to individually attach to the above pressure contact terminals, etc.
Since no external force is applied directly to the pressure contact part, it can be prevented from falling off without impairing the pressure contact force to the wire. Moreover, reduction in the number of parts reduces weight, improves work efficiency and supports automatic manufacturing. It has advantages such as ease of use.
