Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain light-weight hardware, cost of which is reduced and which connects a column and a beam, by forming hardware for connecting the column and the beam of nodular graphite cast iron. Boltholes 2a for joining with a steel column are formed to the base 2, and boltholes 3a for joining with a steel beam are formed to the side plate 3. The boltholes 2a are formed in an ellipse long in the cross direction of the steel column, and the boltholes 3a are shaped in an ellipse long in the axial direction of the steel beam. Hardware 1 for connection is casted by nodular graphite cast iron, and both boltholes 2a, 3a are made through casting. Consequently, the quantity of heat of a melting furnace may be reduced because an iron material has a low melting temperature. Accordingly, case sand having low fire resistance can be used as cast sand, the boltholes can be made through casting and manufacturing cost can be reduced.

は鋳鋼よりも比重が小さいから軽量となり、鉄骨柱と鉄
骨はりとの組立て作業が容易となる。

【実施例】本発明の実施例を図面によって説明する。図
1は本発明の一実施例の接合用金物を示し、この接合用
金物1は、基板2より側板3を突出させたT字状に形成
されており、基板2には鉄骨柱4(図3参照)と接合す
るための4個のボルト穴2aが形成されており、側板3
に鉄骨はり5(同前)と接合するための8個のボルト穴
3aが形成されている。基板2のボルト穴2aは鉄骨柱
4の軸方向に長い長円形に形成されており、同様に側板
3のボルト穴3aは鉄骨はり5の軸方向に長い長円形に
形成されている。またこの接合用金物1は球状黒鉛鋳鉄
によって鋳造されており、両ボルト穴2a,3aは鋳出
しによって形成されている。本実施例は以上のように構
成されており、すなわち球状黒鉛鋳鉄によって形成され
ているから溶解炉の熱量が少なくてすみ、また鋳型砂と
して耐火度の低いものを用いることができる。またボル
ト穴2a,3aは鋳穴によって製造されているから、こ
の接合用金物1は安価に製造することができる。更に鋳
鋼の比重が約7.8であるのに対して、球状黒鉛鋳鉄の
比重は約7.2であるから比重が約8%ほど小さく、こ
の比率だけ接合用金物の軽量化を図ることができ、鉄骨
柱と鉄骨はりとの組立て作業が容易となる。

合用金物1の塑性域に至ると、図5に示すように側板3
とはり5とに形成したボルト穴とボルト6とのクリアラ
ンス分だけ接合用金物1と鉄骨はり5とは相互にスリッ
プし、更にクリアランスがなくなった後に接合用金物1
は破断に至る。他方球状黒鉛鋳鉄は鋳鋼に比べて伸びが
小さく、したがって塑性域での吸収エネルギーが小さい
が、本実施例では側板のボルト穴3aが鉄骨はり5の軸
方向に長い長円形に形成されているから、ボルト穴とボ
ルト6とのクリアランスは鉄骨はり5の軸方向に大きく
なる。この結果、接合用金物1は見かけ上大きく伸びる
こととなり、接合用金物1と鉄骨はり5との接合部にお
ける大きな変形を吸収することができる。なお本実施例
では各ボルト穴2a,3aは、長方形の両側に2個の半
円を付加した形状に形成されているが、楕円形状に形成
することもできる。
