In such a belt type transmission device, in order to prevent slippage between the transmission belt and the pulley and to improve power transmission efficiency, between the pressing surface of the disk and the side surface of the block which are in surface contact with each other. It is necessary to increase the coefficient of friction, and it has been proposed to form irregularities on those surfaces. For example, in JP-A-60-81537, a large number of small depressions are formed on the side surface of the block by shot blasting or the like to provide fine irregularities to increase the friction coefficient between the disk clamping surface in a polished state and The tip of the convex portion of the minute irregularities is a flat surface, and the area ratio of the flat surface, that is, the ratio of the flat surface to the total surface area in the state of filling the recess is within the range of 20 to 70%. A technique is disclosed for preventing excessive wear due to rolling fatigue on the pressing surface. On the contrary, in JP-A-60-109661, on the contrary, a large number of small dents are formed on the disk pressing surface to provide minute unevenness,
While increasing the friction coefficient with the block side surface in the polished state, the tip of the convex portion of the minute unevenness is made a flat surface, and the area ratio of the flat surface is set within the range of 20 to 70%, and it is transferred to the block side surface. A technique for preventing excessive wear due to dynamic fatigue is disclosed.

However, even with such a belt type transmission, it was not always possible to sufficiently prevent wear due to rolling fatigue, and the friction coefficient is not stable. was there.
That is, since one of the disk clamping surface and the block side surface that are in surface contact with each other is in a polished state, it is unavoidable that local stress concentration is caused by being pressed by the other surface on which the minute irregularities are formed. However, even if the area ratio of the flat surface of the fine irregularities is within the range of 20 to 70%, it is not possible to sufficiently prevent wear due to rolling fatigue. Then, when wear occurs on any surface in this way,
Secondary abrasion is promoted on both contact surfaces by the abrasion powder, so that the area ratio of the flat surface of the fine irregularities increases and the friction coefficient decreases with the passage of time.

In order to achieve the above object, the inventors of the present invention have conducted various experiments and researches. As a result, the contact surfaces of both the transmission belt and the pulley are provided with minute irregularities and the convex portions thereof are provided. It has been found that the wear resistance can be improved and a large friction coefficient can be favorably maintained by appropriately determining the area ratio of the flat surface of the tip. The present invention is made on the basis of such knowledge, and has a plurality of pulleys provided with a pair of disks arranged so that the conical pressing surfaces face each other, and the pressing surfaces of the pair of disks are A belt type in which a plurality of blocks, each of which has a pair of tapered side surfaces to be brought into contact with each other, are looped around each other around a plurality of transmission belts, and the power is transmitted between the plurality of pulleys via the transmission belts. In the transmission device, a large number of small depressions are formed on each of the pressing surface of the disk and the side surface of the block by plastic deformation to form minute irregularities, and the tip of the convex portion is a flat surface, and the area ratio of the flat surface is That is, it is characterized in that the ratio of the flat surface to the total surface area in the state where the recess is filled is set within the range of 20 to 50%.

In such a belt type transmission, since minute depressions are formed by plastic deformation on both of the disk clamping surface and the block side surface which are brought into contact with each other, minute irregularities are provided. A residual compressive stress is applied to the surface layer portion, and hardness is increased by work hardening. Since rolling fatigue is reduced by applying the residual compressive stress, the wear resistance of both the disk clamping surface and the block side surface is improved in combination with the increase in the hardness of the surface layer portion. When the area ratio of the flat surface formed on the tip of the convex portion of the minute unevenness is set within the range of 20 to 50%, a large friction coefficient due to the unevenness can be obtained while ensuring the above wear resistance, and Since the secondary wear is reduced by the improvement, a large friction coefficient is maintained satisfactorily for a long period of time.
In an experiment conducted by the present inventors, the area ratio of the flat surface is 20 to 5 on either one of the disk pressing surface and the block side surface.
When it is out of the range of 0%, sufficient abrasion resistance cannot be obtained and the friction coefficient is remarkably lowered with time, and the area ratio of the disk pressing surface and the flat surface of the block side surface is both in the range of 20 to 50%. If it is within the range, the above effect can be enjoyed.

FIG. 7 shows the result of measurement of the residual compressive stress of the disk 18 after the shot blasting, and the horizontal axis is the depth d from the tip surface S of the unevenness as shown in FIG. As is clear from FIG. 7, it is understood that the residual compressive stress is increased by 4 to 5 times from the inside in the vicinity of the surface due to the plastic deformation. The internal residual compressive stress (about 20 kgf / mm 2 ) is due to heat treatment. In addition, FIG. 8 shows the result of measurement of hardness H V , which is indicated by “○” in the figure.
The graph indicated by the mark relates to the disk 18, and the hardness H V in the vicinity of the surface is increased by about 100 as compared with the inside due to work hardening.

The concavities and convexities 30 are formed on the pressing surface 20 of the disk 22 of the other pulley 12 in exactly the same manner as the pressing surface 16 of the disk 18. The block 26 was made of SUJ2 (JIS standard), and after quenching and tempering in oil, the side surface 28 of the block 26 was shot blasted under the same conditions as those for the disk 18. With respect to the residual compressive stress in this case, substantially the same result as in FIG. 7 was obtained. Further, the hardness H V is as shown by the mark "●" in FIG.
Although it is about 100 lower than that of No. 8, it is about 100 higher than the inside in the vicinity of the surface.
It is almost the same as the case of 8. After that, the flat surface 32 is formed by removing the tip end of the convex portion of the minute concavo-convex by lapping, similarly to the disk 18.

As is apparent from the above test results, the flat surface area ratio FR D of the disks 18 and 22 and the block 26.
When both flat surface area ratios FR B are within the range of 20 to 50%, the block wear amount is about 1 to 2 mg / piece, the disk wear amount is about 3 to 5 μm, and any wear amount is extremely small. Further, the friction coefficient is maintained at a high level of about 0.06 or more even after the durability test for 150 hours. On the other hand, when either one of the flat surface area ratios FR D and FR B is less than 20% or more than 50%,
Both block wear and disk wear increase,
The decrease in the friction coefficient after the test is also large. FIG. 13 summarizes the amount of wear and the quality of the friction coefficient after the test depending on the flat surface area ratios FR D and FR B.

It is considered that the reason why the wear resistance is improved and the large friction coefficient is favorably maintained is as follows. (1) Disk pressing surface 1 by the shot blasting
Since the residual compressive stress is applied to the surface layers 6 and 20 and the block side surface 28, rolling fatigue is reduced, and the hardness H V of these surface layers is 10 due to work hardening.
Along with the fact that it is increased to about 0, the wear resistance is improved. (2) When the flat surface area ratios FR D and FR B are both 20% or more, extreme local stress concentration is avoided, the stress generated near the surface is suppressed within the allowable limit, and the wear is reduced. (3) When the flat surface area ratios FR D and FR B are both 50% or less, a stress that suppresses the generation of an oil film acts on the contact portion, and a large friction coefficient sufficient to prevent slip is secured. It (4) Since the abrasion resistance is improved, the secondary abrasion due to the abrasion powder is suppressed, so that the large friction coefficient is favorably maintained for a long period of time.

As described above, the pressing surfaces 16 and 20 of the disks 18 and 22 and the side surface 28 of the block 26 are respectively shot blasted to form minute irregularities, and at the same time,
The tips of the minute irregularities are removed to remove the disks 18, 22.
If both the flat surface area ratio FR D and the flat surface area ratio FR B of the block 26 are within the range of 20 to 50%, wear of the pressing surfaces 16 and 20 and the side surface 28 is reduced and a large friction coefficient is obtained. In addition, a decrease in the friction coefficient due to secondary wear is avoided, and a large friction coefficient can be favorably maintained. Since such a large coefficient of friction is obtained, slippage of the transmission belt 14 is prevented, power transmission efficiency is improved, and the clamping pressure for clamping the block 26 by the disks 18, 22, for example, the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic cylinder is the same. If so, a large driving torque can be transmitted. Further, if the driving torque required is the same, the clamping force can be reduced, and the block 26 can be provided with a thin body to reduce the weight, and the abnormal noise caused by the elastic deformation of the block 26 can be generated. Can be suppressed. The weight reduction of the block 26 improves the durability of the hoop 24. Further, since the clamping pressure can be reduced, the hydraulic pressure can be reduced, and the entire system can be simplified, thus improving the productivity.
