Abstract

PURPOSE:To remarkably improve a damping effect by setting a natural frequency, determined by mass and rigidity of a diaphragm and by weight of fluid in the second fluid chamber, to almost agree with a natural frequency of a device total unit. CONSTITUTION:When a frequency of vibration, acting on an engine mount, is increased by successively increasing an engine speed, a dynamic spring constant is gradually increased to generate a condition of the dynamic spring constant in the case of not using the second orifice 20, at a certain engine speed. Here, mass and rigidity of a diaphragm 11 and weight of fluid in the second fluid chamber 13 are set to almost agree with a peak frequency of a dynamic spring constant, in the case of using the orifice 20, so that the diaphragm 11 resonates to decrease the dynamic spring constant, in the case of approaching the peak frequency of the dynamic spring constant by a response delay, thereafter the dynamic spring constant, in the case of not using the second orifice 20, is obtained. Accordingly, a damping effect is displayed against vibration input by the engine speed or more.
