For example, camera shake vibration (usually tilt vibration of the camera with respect to the photographing optical axis) is detected as an acceleration signal, and this acceleration signal is integrated by a signal processing system to obtain a velocity signal (and a displacement signal). The optical axis decentering means is configured to drive the optical axis decentering means in a vibration suppression direction (the apparent direction of image formation is a direction in which upper vibrations are suppressed).

However, when the above-mentioned image blur correction device and automatic focus adjustment device are combined to respond to a camera or the like, there are cases where the effect cannot be fully exhibited. In other words, in order to distinguish between the photographer's camera shake and panning or frame changes, the image stabilization device classifies the behavior of the camera shake into several patterns and infers the photographer's intention. Attempts have been made to improve operability by changing the bandwidth and other processing.

In addition, although it was previously assumed that dL is the position signal of the correction optical system ILNS, since the displacement of the correction optical system ILNS and the amount of optical axis eccentricity caused by this are proportional, even if dL is regarded as the amount of optical axis eccentricity, There is no problem, and the origin of this signal is the position where the central axis of the correction optical system ILNS and the photographing optical axis coincide.

FIG. 2 shows the support mechanism of the correction optical system ILNS in detail, and is a perspective view viewed diagonally from the front on a horizontal plane including the optical axis. Normally, shake is detected and corrected by dividing it into two axes: vertical direction (pitch) and horizontal direction (yaw), but in this example, the above two directions are in the I and J directions tilted at 45 degrees. The reference axis for image stabilization is set.

Reference numeral 61 denotes a motor that drives the lens holding frame 32 in the dj force direction, and is fixed to the flat support portion 31j of the fixed frame 31 via the motor stand 48. Similarly, the motor shaft 61a has a cam 62.
A pulley 63 is fixed and a wire 65. The cam 62 and the cam follower 64 are brought into contact with each other by a spring 66 and a spring hook 67. Here, the cam follower 64 is provided not on the lens holding frame 32 but on the intermediate lever 71. The intermediate lever 71 is connected to the fixed frame 31 via a flexible tongue 72, and is capable of swinging in the force direction of arrow θj. is in contact with the flat portion 32j of the lens holding frame 32. Therefore, the rotation of the cam 62 causes the cam follower 64. The intermediate lever 71 and the intermediate bearings 73 and 74 are integrally displaced in the θj force direction, which causes the lens holding frame 3

j and the intermediate bearings 73, 74, interference between the di force direction dj force direction movements is avoided. Further, a slit plate 68 is fixed to the lens holding frame 32, and the displacement of the lens holding frame 32 in the dj force direction is detected by an infrared light emitting diode 69 and a position detection sensor PSD70.

In each figure in FIG. 3, the horizontal axis is time. In other words, "shake displacement" refers to the shake displacement of the camera, which is a photographing device in which the camera body CMR and lens LNS are integrated. However, this represents the attitude (orientation) of the camera with respect to the outside world. This displacement is not directly detected.

One-shot AF is often selected when photographing a stationary subject, such as a portrait or commemorative photograph, and therefore, vanning is not performed. However, after AF ends, so-called prefocusing, which changes the framing, may be performed. FIG. 3(a) shows this situation, where only camera shake vibrations occur up to time t1, but 1. This shows that the framing change started at t4 and ended at t4. The speed signal at this time is shown in rvJ in the figure. If the image stabilization is performed completely over the entire time domain, the image stabilization will cancel out any framing changes made by the photographer from time t1 to t4, and the framing changes will not be made on the viewfinder screen. It's extremely difficult to use. Therefore, in this embodiment, attention is paid to the fact that the speed signal V becomes considerably large when changing the framing, and when the speed V exceeds a certain limit value ±vth, the displacement d' is reset to become rOJ.

That is, when the speed V exceeds vth at time t2, it is determined that a framing change has been made, and the speed V exceeds vth.
The displacement d' is set to "0" until the value is below, and when lvl<vth at time t3, output of the displacement d' is started. Therefore, the movement of the correction optical system ILNS is as shown by the displacement d', and during the framing change, image blur correction is prohibited and the framing change is enabled, and image blur correction is performed at other times.

Servo AF is selected when photographing a subject whose focus constantly changes, and the subject's vertical and horizontal movements are also irregular. Therefore, the camera shake displacement is shown in Figure 3 (b).
As shown in the figure, the waveform is a combination of low-frequency, large-amplitude shaking due to frequent framing changes and camera shake vibration. Therefore, in such a case, the cutoff frequency of the bypass filter HPS is increased to weaken the effectiveness of image blur correction against low frequency blur caused by changing the framing. Then, d' in the same figure
Correcting optical system ILN is used for low-frequency and large-amplitude shakes such as
S does not react much, and high-frequency blur caused by camera shake can be corrected. Therefore, the framing can be changed smoothly without reducing the camera shake correction ability.

Moving object predictive servo AF is often selected to photograph objects that are continuously approaching or receding, and therefore the camera is often used in a panning state. Therefore, the shake displacement at this time gradually changes in one direction as shown in FIG. 3(C), and the camera shake is superimposed on this. Then, the speed detected at this time is as shown in (■) in the same figure, and the speed detected at this time is
The displacement signal passing through F becomes d'. Here, when the amount of panning is small, normal image stabilization operation can be performed, but when the amount of panning is large, the correction optical system IL
S uses up its effective stroke (hits the inner wall of the lens barrel), and subsequent image blur correction becomes impossible. Therefore, in this embodiment, the displacement signal d' at time t
exceeds the limit value dth, the cutoff frequency of the bypass filter HPF is increased to reduce the displacement dth due to panning.
′ is prevented from increasing. Such processing does not reduce the camera shake correction ability and does not respond to panning operations, so it does not interfere with panning operations in moving object predictive servo AF.

In the above step (216), if it is determined that lvl≧vth, it is assumed that the framing has been changed as explained in FIG. At the same time as resetting, switch 5WHP is turned on. Then, since both the displacement signals d and d' become "O", the correction optical system IL

Then, when the framing change is completed and 1v<vth, the process moves from step (216) to step (218) again, the switch 5WHP is turned off, and the integrator INT2 also outputs the displacement signal d without being reset. Therefore, the normal image blur correction operation is restarted.
