Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a discharge type printing card enhanced in environmental resistance, in the discharge type printing card having a shading layer, by forming the shading layer from a resin having volume resistivity of 10<10>OMEGA-cm or more and setting the thickness thereof to 1-20mum. CONSTITUTION:In a discharge type printing card wherein a magnetic recording layer composed of a magnetic material is provided on a plastic substrate and a shading layer is provided thereon, the shading layer is composed of a resin having volume resistivity of 10<10>OMEGA-cm and the thickness thereof is set to 1-20mum. This shading layer is pref. formed from a material whose specific resistance is higher than that of the material of a magnetic recording layer and a metal vapor deposition layer and a resin having volume resistivity of 10<10>OMEGA-cm is desirable and the thickness of the shading layer must be l/m or more. Since the output of the card is lowered when said layer is too thick, the thickness thereof is desirably 20mum or below. By providing the shading layer between the magnetic recording layer and the metal vapor deposition layer, the acceleration preventing effect of reaction is obtained and environmental resistance can be enhanced.
