本考案は上記従来のウエルトにおける問題点に
鑑み案出したものであつて、見栄え性を向上させ
得るとともに、ドアのシール性を確保し得るウエ
ルト構造を提供せんことを目的とし、その要旨は
自動車のドア取付用開口部の周縁に装着されるウ
エルトであつて、該開口部周縁を形成するボデイ
のパネル端に外嵌し得る内溝部と、該内溝部の外
側端部より折返されて同内溝部の外側にあつて前
記パネル端の外側に湾曲されるボデイ内装材の端
縁に外嵌し得る外溝部とを備えた断面略Ｓ字状に
形成するとともに、この外溝部の外側に形成した
外方壁面にウエザストリツプを接着する構成とし

３の湾曲端縁３ａが嵌入係止される。従つて、そ
の係止状態を確実化させるため、この外溝部Ｓ内
にもリツプ部４ｃが複数個形成されている。尚、
このウエルト４にはその内部にＳ字状に芯材４ａ
が配設されており、相当の強度が確保されてい
る。このウエルト４の外方壁面４ｄは平面状に形
成されており、外方よりウエザーストリツプ５の
内壁面５ａが接着剤等を介し接着されている。こ
のウエザーストリツプ５には対向する外方面に外
方に突出したリツプ部５ｂが形成されており、中
央部は中空部５ｃとなつている。従つて、自動車
にドアが取り付けられドアが閉止される時には、
このリツプ部５ｂがドア６の内側のインナーパネ

の端縁と内装材の端縁とをそれぞれ処理すること
ができ、その装着状態でボデイ内装材の端部にて
隠蔽することができるとともに、内外溝部を設け
たことから、ボデイ内装材を後付けすることがで
き内装施工が容易となる。さらに、外方壁面には
ウエザストリツプを接着するものであるからウエ
ルトの外側は遮蔽されて見栄えを向上することが
でき、かつウエザストリツプによりシール性を確
