Abstract

PURPOSE:To fuse coating film parts and to form a continuous body by abutting the end faces of plural composite materials formed by layering coating films having the lower melting point than base materials and welding the abutted base material parts of the composite materials. CONSTITUTION:In welding and joining the base material end faces, a means to use the coating composite materials P whose insides are covered with the coating films 2 having the lower melting point than the base materials 1 is adopted. As a result, in welding and joining the pipes P which are coated on the inside, for instance, since inside coating layers can be joined only by management from the outside without carrying out any management from the inside, operation is extremely simple. Moreover, because of fusion between the coating films 2, there is no inclusion of a different kind of material and even in microstructure, the boundary is not almost found and the uniform and continuous pipes P which are coated on the inside are obtained. As a result, the long size pipe can be manufactured.
