Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily and accurately measure the quantity of eccentricity of a toroidal surface by rotating a lens to be measured on a rotary stage, adjusting an objective lens, forming an image in an apparent curvature center, and measuring the quantity of eccentricity of the lens surface from the position of the reflected light image.
CONSTITUTION: An objective 5 is mounted on a stage 10 which is movable and adjustable in an X-axis direction and the lens 7 to be measured is mounted on the rotary stage 9, and rotated the lens 7 by the proper angle each the lens surfaces 71, 72... of the lens 7; and the objective 5 is so moved as to focus an image of an index 2 at apparent curvature center positions of lens surfaces 71, 72... of the lens 7 to be measured in one direction and the quantities of eccentricity of the lens surfaces 71, 72... of the lens 7 to be measured are measured by a microcomputer 12 according to the coordinate positions of the reflected image on a two-dimensional sensor 8.
