本発明は、布巻ロール交換台車の改良、詳しく
は、織機の運転を止めることなく製織状態のまゝ
で満杯になつた布巻ロールと空ロールとの円滑な
交換を可能にできる布巻ロール交換台車の布切断
装置に関するものである。

周知のとおり、従来の製織工場においては、布
巻ロールの交換は製織された布がロールに満杯量
になつたところで、織機を停止して作業員がカツ
ターで幅方向に切断し、巻上がつた布巻ロールを
織機から取り外す一方、新しい空ロールを織機に
装着し、これに布端を巻付けてから織機の運転を
再開するといつた製織活動が為されている。 言うまでもなく、かゝるロール交換作業は決し
て短時間では終了し得ず、特に高速織機では、運
転停止によつて蒙むる生産性の低下は甚だしい。
このようなことから、近年のロボツト技術を応用
してロール交換作業を自動的に行えないかとの要
望も出てきたのであるが、織機を停止させること
なく時々刻々と連続的に製織されてくる布を布巻
ロールに巻き取らせながら、滞りなく円滑に新
(空)・旧(巻き太り)布巻ロールを自動交換する
適切な解決策がなく、満足できる結果が得られな
かつた。 本発明者らは、織機における布巻ロールの自動
交換技術を確立すべく長年に亙つて試作研究を行
なつてきたのであるが、ロール交換の際に織機を
止めねばならなくなる原因が巻き太つた布巻ロー
ルから製織中の布を切り離して、空ロールに巻き
付けるための合理的な切断技術が未熟であること
に気付き、この点を解決すれば布巻ロールの自動
交換を実現するための隘路の一端を打破できると
の確信を得た次第である。 したがつて、本発明の技術的課題は、布巻ロー
ル自動交換に使用されるところの台車に巻き太つ
た布巻ロールから製織中の布を幅方向に円滑に切
断して切り離すことができる新しい機能を付与す
ることにある。

There is no suitable solution for automatically replacing the new (empty) and old (thick) cloth rolls without any delay while winding the cloth onto the cloth rolls, and a satisfactory result has not been obtained. The inventors of the present invention have been conducting prototype research for many years in order to establish a technology for automatically changing cloth rolls in looms, but they have found that the reason why the loom has to be stopped when changing the rolls is that the cloth rolls are too thick. We realized that the rational cutting technology for separating the cloth being woven from the roll and wrapping it around the empty roll was not yet developed, and if we solved this point, we would be able to overcome one of the obstacles to realizing automatic exchange of cloth rolls. I am confident that I can do it. 採用した手段を、添付図面を参照して説明すれ
ば、次のとおりである。 即ち、本発明は、織機Tの前方へ出向配備さ
れ、ロール交換アーム6,6を屈伸動作せしめる
ことによつて、前記織機T上で巻き太つてきた布
巻ロール1を服巻ロールBとの間に製織中の布M
が連なつた状態のまゝで取り外して受載する一
方、予備積載せる空ロール8を当該織機Tにリセ
ツトせしめる布巻ロール交換台車を技術的前提と
して、当該台車2における前記ロール交換アーム
6,6間に屈伸支持アーム11を配設し、この屈
伸支持アーム11の自由端部に略水平方向へ走行
するスライドカツター10aを備える布切断手段
10を装着することによつて前述の技術的課題を
満足できるようにした点に要旨が存する。

織機Tの布巻ロール1に対向するよう台車2を配
車し、この台車2のロール交換アーム6,6を屈
伸動作させて当該台車上の回転支障機構7,7
に、巻太つた布巻ロール1を移載して、当該回転
支承機構7,7上で続々と製織されてくる布Wを
当該布巻ロール1に巻き取らせる一方(第1図〜
第3図参照)、 織機Tの服巻ロールBに連なる当該布Wの上か
ら空ロール8を織機Tにリセツトし(第4図〜第
6図参照)、次いで、該織機側に装着された空ロ
ール8の近傍において、布Wを幅方向に切断した
後、流体を噴射して、空ロール側の切断布端W2
を空ロール外周に吹き付けて巻き付ける(第7図
〜第9図参照)布巻ロールの自動交換システムに
使用される「布巻ロール交換台車」として構成さ
れている。なお、図中の符号3はプレスロール、
4は布巻プレスロール、5はストツパー、9はロ
ールレストである。 しかして、本実施例の本体部をなす台車2は、
ロール交換アーム6と6との間に屈伸動作可能な
屈伸支持アーム11が付設してあり、この支持ア
ーム11は関節部が伸びることによつて自由端部
が前方へ持ち出され、逆に関節部が屈曲すること
によつて自由端部が当該台車2のシヤーシ側に引
き込み運動するように構成されてある。 そして、この屈伸支持アーム11の自由端部に
は、上記ロール交換アーム6と6との間に伸びる
スライドバー12が配設されてあり、このスライ
ドバー12にはランナー13を介してスライドカ
ツター10aが突設されて、このスライドカツタ
ー10aとランナー13が対象とする布Wの幅方
向(略水平方向)へ走行する布切断手段10を構
成している。ちなみに、本実施例における布切断
手段10の布切断のための走行機構は、第10図
に示される。 また、本実施例におけるランナー13には、第
11図に示す如く、空ロール8のカツター対向部
近傍に向け流体ノズル14が配設されており、カ
ツター10aと一緒に布幅方向に移動するように
構成してある。 それゆえ、第8図および第11図に示す如く、
織機Tに装着された空ロール8の下方から布巻ロ
ール1に連なる布Wをやゝ持ち上げるようにする
と、スライドバー12とガイド10b間の布にテ
ンシヨンが付与され、そのような緊張状態でスラ
イドカツター10aが幅方向へ走行するならば、
当該布Wは円滑、かつ、直線的に切断されること
になる。 しかして、本実施例では、布切断手段10のラ
ンナー13には、スライドカツター10aと一緒
に流体ノズル14が移動し、空ロール8周面へ向
つて流体(例えば、水)を噴射する構造になつて
いるので、切断された布端W2は切断と同時に空
ロール8の周面に添着する如く巻付くことにな
る。 本発明の代表例である本実施例は概ね上記のよ
うに構成されるが、本発明は前述の実施例に限定
されるものでは決してなく、「特許請求の範囲」
の範囲内で適宜な設計変更が可能であり、例えば
次のような変更例は本発明の技術的範囲に属する
ことは言うまでもない。 例えば、第12図に図示される布切断装置は、
布幅方向へ延びるスライドバー12にスライド自
在に装着されたランナー13がモータMを装備し
ており、このモータMが伝動ギヤ18,18′,
18″を介して駆動軸19に伝えられ、この駆動
軸19に固定されたピニオン21がスライドバー
12下面のラツク20と噛合しているため、ラン
ナー13はスライドバー12に沿つて移動する一
方、前記駆動軸19の先端にはベベルギア22,
22が配設してあり、このベベルギア22,22
を介して円形刃からなるスライドカツター10a
を回転させ、このスライドカツター10aの回転
により布Wを切断するというものである。 また、第13図および第14図に図示する布切
断装置は、スライドバー12を単に張力付与手段
として用い、それに平行してプーリ25,25に
てタイミングベルト24を張設し、スライドカツ
ター10aを保持したホルダー23を該タイミン
グベルト24により布幅方向へ移動させて布Wを
切断しようとするものである。なお、移動方向は
スイツチSW1とSW2との接触片26の接触・分離
によつてモータMの回転方向を制御することによ
つて行なう。

置を備えているので、これを用いて布巻ロールの
自動交換システムを構築する場合に織機1台毎に
布切断装置を付設する必要がなくて、カツター機
構部分の保守管理も容易であり、しかも織機の構
成が複雑にならないので製作コスト抑制の要請に
も適合するものと云える。 また、本発明を適用した布巻ロール交換台車に
あつては、布巻ロールを織機から取り外す際にも
布切断装置を当該布巻ロールから離れた箇所に待
機させておくことができるので、布巻ロールの機
械的取出も簡易になり、布に障害を与える危険も
少ない。 さらに、本発明の布断装置は、屈伸支持アーム
の屈伸動作によつて、迅速かつ的確にカツター機
構部を退避位置と作用位置に移動可能であるの
で、当該台車が移動する際にカツター機構部分が
張り出して邪魔になることがなく、本体たる台車
の運行を妨げる不便もない。 このように本発明によれば、従来布巻ロールの
自動交換を妨げていた技術的隘路の一環を打破す
ることが可能であつて、その産業上の利用価値は
頗る大である。
