規模生産設備であって、生産能率を向上させるためにサ
イジングプレスを備え、後者は中規模生産設備であって
、粗圧延ライン長の短縮を図るため粗圧延された金属帯

能率の良い生産を行うことはできない。従って、従来の
熱間粗圧延設備では生産能率が良くしかも粗圧延ライン

延機、5はスラブSが粗圧延されることにより形成され
た金属帯板Pを巻取るコイルボックスであり、スラブ幅
圧下用サイジングブレス2、エツジヤ−3、粗圧延機4
、コイルボックス5は、加熱炉1の出側にスラブ送り方
向り上流側から下流側へ向けて順次配列されている。又
コイルボックス5の下流側には、コイルボックス5で巻
戻された金属帯板Pを仕上圧延するための仕上圧延機(
