Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve waterproofness in a connecting part between a roof of a lower story and an external wall on an upper story by a method wherein a dripping member covering the lower story for waterproofing (weathering) the connecting part between the roof of the lower story and the external wall panel on the upper story side is made to ensure watertightness without employing an under-wall gasket.
CONSTITUTION: The device is provided to cover a part 3 in which a roof 1 of a lower story and an external wall panel 2 on the upper story side are connected with each other, and is equipped with a lower edge part 12a extending along the upper face of the roof 1 of the lower story and an upper edge part 12b extending along the lower end face of the external wall panel 2. The upper edge part 12b is further formed in a turned-up form in a V shape section that comes in contact with the lower end face of the external wall panel 2.
