Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an integrated photovoltaic cell module possessing the increased quantity of transmitted background light and the improved visual effect, and its manufacturing method which enables an integrated photovoltaic cell module, having the increased quantity of transmitted background light, to be manufactured without the addition of a special removal step. CONSTITUTION:An integrated type photovoltaic cell module is characterized in that a photovoltaic cell 3, positioned right below an isolation line 5 of a rear surface electrode 4, is removed. In preferred embodiments, a slit like light transmitting portion is thus formed in a photovoltaic portion. Laser scribing from a transmissive substrate 1 removes the rear surface electrode 4 together with the photovoltaic cell 3 positioned right below the scribing line 5.
