Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an in-mold coating method which eliminates an IMC shortage in molding for which BMC is used and molds favorably and efficiently a facial quality of a molded product.
CONSTITUTION: A pressure sensor 9 is provided in the vicinity of a plastic casting port 5 of a mold where a cut-off 7 is formed in the fringe of a shaped part of a molded product and at the time of molding by casting plastic into the mold, molding pressure is decompressed at a point of time when a pressure sensor detects a predetermined pressure drop by passing through peak pressure, paints are cast into the vacuum deaerated mold with high pressure, then the cast paints are caused to flow within the mold and the paints are cured. An outflow of the paints, which is cast within the mold with high pressure, to the outside is stopped by the cut-off of the mold, the surface of the molded product is covered completely with the paints cast within the mold and an IMC shortage does not occur.
