PURPOSE: To allow the execution of a water treatment with the equipment simpler than the conventional water treating equipment by using an external pressure type ceramic filter to be immersed into an aeration tank in the equipment for executing a pretreatment of a reverse osmosis membrane separator and to allow the easy dealing with the increase in the volume. of raw water by expanding membrane area of the external pressure type ceramic filter to be immersed into the aeration tank and the reverse osmosis membrane separator.
CONSTITUTION: The water treating equipment for subjecting the raw water to a reverse osmosis membrane treatment is constituted by providing the aeration tank 21 in the front stage thereof, providing the external pressure type ceramic filter 23 immersed in the soln. mixture in this aeration tank, providing an air diffuser in the lower part of this external pressure type ceramic filter, providing a suction pump 25 for taking filtered water out of the soln. mixture in the aeration tank through the external pressure type ceramic filter on the outside of the aeration tank and providing the reverse osmosis membrane separator 28 communicating with the discharge side of this suction pump.
