電線6へかける散水装置、13は散水装置12より散水
した温水及び氷又は雪の溶けた水を受ける保水器、14
は送電線6に付着している氷又は雪を除去するため回転

線の丸印)が設けられているので温水は送電線6の上に
落下する。この温水により、送電線6に付着している氷
又は雪を溶かしながら自走式走行台車1が移動して行く
。散水した温水及び送電線6に付着していた氷又は雪が
溶けた水は保水器13に回収し、温水装置9に循環させ
るようにしている。また、温水をかけたのみでは溶けき
らずに残った氷又は雪については、後部に設けた回転装
置11により回転しているブラシ14を送電線6を挟む
