Abstract

PURPOSE: To bore an oil hole accurately in a prescribed position even if the diameter and thickness in its small edge part are changed in a processing device to bore the oil hole in the small edge part of a connecting rod.
CONSTITUTION: A connecting rod is positioned in/fixed to a clamp seat on a rotary index board with the small edge part center as its basis. A positioning pin 55 arranged on the lower base plate 47 capable of moving along an inclined guide rail 44 by means of a cylinder 49 is brought into contact with either of four positioning pins 541-544 different in length and height of its lower base plate 47 is set to correspond to the thickness of the small edge part of the connecting rod. A main shaft spindle 70 is arranged on the upper base plate 59 capable of moving by means of a cylinder 66 while being supported so as to be movable in sliding freely on the lower base plate 47, and its blade jig 69 is set to be opposed to the mail edge part center of the positioned connecting rod.
