Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically adjust the blades of a blind. CONSTITUTION:A blind 1 is made up of blades 3 of a shape-memory alloy capable of changing its shape from flat plate to cylindrical form or from cylindrical form to flat plate. When the blades change to flat plate form by radiant heat from the sunshine, the interval between the adjacent blades 3 becomes smaller to interrupt the passage of light. Also, when they receive no sunshine or are cooled, the blades 3 change to cylindrical form and the interval between the adjacent blades 3 becomes wider to allow light to pass.

2. Description of the Related Art Blinds are installed near the inner surfaces of window glasses and outer glass walls for the purpose of blocking direct sunlight or suppressing heat radiation due to sunlight. This blind was constructed by using rectangular thin plates as light-shielding blades, which were connected continuously in the plane direction, and the slope of the blades varied. By changing the inclination angle of the blades according to the angle of incidence of sunlight, it is possible to arbitrarily select the amount of incident light and the amount of indirect light.

[Problem to be solved by the invention] However, it is cumbersome as it is necessary to change the direction of the blades frequently, taking into consideration the temperature environment such as air conditioning or heating, and it is desirable to automatically adjust the direction of the blades. . The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and its purpose is to utilize heat radiation from sunlight, and when the sunlight is strong, the blades of the blind are automatically activated to block sunlight, but when it is not, the blinds are blocked from sunlight. The object of the present invention is to provide a blind that allows light to enter or can artificially block it.

[Means for Solving the Problems] In order to achieve the above object, the blind of the present invention has a cylindrical shape in an environment below normal temperature such as indoors, and has a shape that deforms into a thin plate shape above a certain target temperature. The blades made of memory alloy are arranged in a plane and connected and supported continuously in the alignment direction. Among the support members that continuously support the blade for the purpose of artificially operating the blade, the support member directly connected to the blade includes a heating wire.

[Operation] When the blind is open, sunlight enters between the blades. That is, when the blind is in the open state, the blades exhibit a martensitic phase with a cylindrical shape. Therefore, the solar radiation that enters between the blades hits the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical blade, and due to the radiant heat and heat conduction at this time, the martensitic transformation unique to shape memory alloys functions, and the blades are set in advance. When the temperature of the shape memory alloy is reached, it transforms into a horizontal lamellar austenite phase. When the blade is shaped like a thin plate, the entire blade surface receives incident light and does not allow light to pass through to the back side, thereby stably maintaining the transformation temperature. When the outside temperature drops or the sunlight weakens, the temperature of the blades also drops and they return to their cylindrical shape.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Preferred embodiments of the present invention will now be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a cross section of a blind 1 according to an embodiment. The blind 1 is mainly composed of a rectangular thin plate-like blade 3, which is a plate made of a shape memory alloy itself, or a plate having a shape memory alloy attached to a thin synthetic resin film, a thin metal film, or the like. These blades 3 are arranged in parallel in the horizontal direction and in the left and right directions. The means for aligning and arranging the blades 3 is to extend and fix supports 7 in parallel at regular intervals between frames 5 that are passed along near both end surfaces of the aligned blades 3, that is, frames 5 that are placed on both sides of the blades 3, This support material 7 is used. The support material 7 is a heating wire (heater wire) or an aluminum tube through which a heating wire is passed. Although not shown in the drawings, this support member 7 is naturally connected to a power source for generating heat from the heating wire. The blades 3 are supported by the support member 7, and the blades 3 are arranged horizontally inside the frame 5. The position where the support member 7 supports the blade 3 is along the longitudinal direction of the blade 3 at the center position of the blade 3 in the short direction. In the embodiment, in order to stably support the blade 3, a balanced center position is selected, but an eccentric position may be selected depending on the shape of the blade 3 when it is deformed. The blade 3 of the embodiment has a cylindrical shape at normal room temperature, that is, around 24 degrees Celsius,
It deforms into a thin plate at around 40 degrees Celsius. When the support member 7 is deformed into a cylindrical shape in the left-right direction, that is, the end side where the blades 3 are adjacent to each other, so that the diameter of this cylindrical shape becomes smaller,
The shapes may overlap each other. The embodiments do not overlap, resulting in a single cylindrical shape. Such a blind 1 is installed inside a glass outer wall or a glass roof 9. In the figure, it is installed inside the glass roof 9 and slightly away from the glass roof 9.

As shown in FIG. 1(A), when the sunlight is strong, the blades 3 are warmed by the radiant heat, and the cylindrical blades 3 are expanded into a thin plate shape. Therefore, in the continuous direction of the blade 3, the blade 3
There are almost no gaps between adjacent structures, and the transmittance of solar radiation entering from the roof 9 and the indoor emissivity become considerably low. Conversely, when the solar radiation becomes weaker, the temperature of the blade 3 becomes lower, and the blade 3 changes its shape into a cylindrical shape. Therefore, the gap between the adjacent blades 3 is widened, and the solar transmittance and the indoor heat radiation rate are increased. Since there is no sunlight at night, the blade 3 remains cylindrical. Therefore, the heating wires of the support member 7 may be energized to transmit the heat of the heating wires to the blades 3 to artificially widen the blind 1, that is, change the blades 3 into a horizontal shape. Needless to say, this blind 1 can be mounted on the inside of a window glass, but when it is mounted on the inside of a window glass, the heating wire of the support member 7 is energized at night in winter, and the heating effect can be considerably improved. Radiant heat is emitted from the blades 3 to provide a warm environment close to nature.

Effects of the Invention As described in detail above, the blind of the present invention is made of a shape memory alloy that is cylindrical in an environment below normal indoor temperature and deforms into a thin plate shape above a certain target temperature. Since the blades are made of aluminum, the shading area changes when placed facing the incident sunlight. Since the temperature of the blades increases due to heat radiation from sunlight, it has the effect of automatically shielding the blades when sunlight is strong. Therefore, there is no need to manually change the inclination angle of the blades, and the heat load on the air conditioner due to heat radiation from the glass surface is reduced, resulting in a blind effect. Since the blades are aligned and supported in the plane direction, it has the advantage of being versatile, such as being able to be used inside glass roofs. In addition, if the support material includes heating wires, such as using or attaching heating wires to the support material of the blade,
It has the effect of artificially heating the blades and allowing the blinds to be opened and closed as needed.
