【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、サービス総合デジタル
網に接続され、電話機能を有するファクシミリ装置に関
する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】従来、この種のファクシミリ装置は図４
に示すように、ファクシミリ装置Ａからファクシミリ装
置Ｂにフックオフ、ダイヤリングして呼設定を行いＢ１
　チャンネル接続して通話しているときに同一の相手に
対してファクシミリ通信を行うときには、一旦フックオ
ンして電話を切った後改めて同一の相手に対してファク
シミリ通信開始の操作を行うようになっていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかしこのように通話
中の電話を切って改めて同一の相手に対してファクシミ
リ通信開始の操作を行うようにしたのでは操作が面倒と
なる問題があった。
【０００４】そこで本発明は、通話中の電話を切ること
無くファクシミリ通信開始の操作により同一相手とのフ
ァクシミリ通信ができて操作性を向上でき、しかもＢチ
ャンネルが空いていない時にはＤチャンネルパケットで
ファクシミリ通信ができ実用性を向上できるファクシミ
リ装置を提供しようとするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は、サービス総合
デジタル網に接続され、電話機能を有するファクシミリ
装置において、ダイヤルして電話接続した相手先電話番
号を記憶する記憶手段と、ファクシミリ通信を開始させ
るファクシミリ通信開始キーと、通話中においてファク
シミリ通信開始キーの操作があると、記憶手段から相手
先電話番号を呼出しダイヤルして通話しているＢチャン
ネルとは別のＢチャンネルの空き状態をチェックし、空
いている時にはその別のＢチャンネルを使用して通話中
の相手とファクシミリ通信を行い、空いていない時には
Ｄチャンネルパケットで通話中の相手とファクシミリ通
信を行うファクシミリ通信制御手段を設けたものである
。

【作用】このような構成の本発明においては、通話中に
ファクシミリ通信開始キーを操作すると記憶手段から相
手先電話番号を呼出しダイヤルして通話しているＢチャ
ンネルとは別のＢチャンネルの空き状態を調べ空いてい
ればそのＢチャンネルを使用して同一相手とファクシミ
リ通信を行う。また空いていなければＤチャンネルパケ
ットで同一相手とファクシミリ通信を行う。

【実施例】以下、本発明の実施例を図面を参照して説明
する。
【０００８】図１はファクシミリ装置の構成を示すブロ
ック図で、１は制御部本体を構成する端末制御部、２は
ダイヤリングされた相手電話番号やファクシミリ通信モ
ード、その他メッセージ等を表示する表示部、３は相手
電話番号の入力用キーや短縮ダイヤルキー、ファクシミ
リ通信開始キー３ａ等を設けたキー入力部、４は電話機
を制御して通話を行う電話機制御部、５はサービス総合
デジタル網（以下、ＩＳＤＮと称する。）に接続され、
ＩＳＤＮ回線を制御してデータの通信制御を行う回線制
御部、６は原稿を読取る読取制御部７、データを印字記
録する印字制御部８及び送信データ、受信データ、相手
電話番号を一時格納するメモリ制御部９をそれぞれ制御
するとともに通信データの符号化や復号化等を行うデー
タ制御部である。これらは互いにバスライン１０を介し
て接続されている。
【０００９】このような構成のファクシミリ装置がＩＳ
ＤＮ回線を介して互いに接続されている場合に、ファク
シミリＡからファクシミリＢに対する通信制御は前記端
末制御部１により図２及び図３に示すシーケンスに基づ
いて行われるようになっている。
【００１０】図２ではファクシミリＡがフックオフしフ
ァクシミリＢに対してダイヤリングすると、Ｄチャンネ
ルの呼設定手順に基づいてファクシミリＡからファクシ
ミリＢに呼設定が行われ、ファクシミリＢから呼出し及
び応答があり、これに対してファクシミリＡから応答確
認が行われてファクシミリＡとファクシミリＢとの間で
Ｂ１　チャンネルを使用して通話が開始される。またこ
のときダイヤリングした相手電話番号がメモリ制御部９
によって一時記憶される。
【００１１】そして通話中にファクシミリＡにおいてフ
ァクシミリ通信開始キー３ａをＯＮ操作すると、メモリ
制御部９から相手電話番号が呼出されファクシミリＢに
対してファクシミリ通信のための呼設定が行われる。こ
のときもう一つのＢチャンネルであるＢ２　チャンネル
の空きがチェックされ、ファクシミリＢにおいてＢ２　
チャンネルが空いていればファクシミリＢから応答があ
るので、ファクシミリＡは応答確認を行った後ファクシ
ミリＢに対してファクシミリ通信を開始する。
【００１２】図３ではファクシミリＡとファクシミリＢ
との間でＢ１　チャンネルを使用して通話が開始された
後、通話中にファクシミリＡにおいてファクシミリ通信
開始キー３ａをＯＮ操作すると、ファクシミリＢに対し
てファクシミリ通信のための呼設定が行われる。このと
きもう一つのＢチャンネルであるＢ２　チャンネルの空
きがチェックされ、ファクシミリＢにおいてＢ２　チャ
ンネルが使用中等で空いていなければファクシミリＢか
ら応答が無いので、ファクシミリＡはＢ２　チャンネル
が空いていないことを確認し、今度はＤチャンネルパケ
ットでファクシミリ通信を行うための接続制御を行い、
ファクシミリＢに対してＤチャンネルパケットでファク
シミリ通信を開始する。
【００１３】このような構成であれば、通話中の相手に
対してファクシミリ通信を行う時には電話をフックオン
して切ること無く、通話状態のままファクシミリ通信開
始キー３ａをＯＮ操作することで同一の相手に対して通
話しているＢ１チャンネルとは別のＢ２　チャンネルを
使用してファクシミリ通信を行うことができる。またも
し相手ファクシミリＢがＢ２　チャンネルを使用中であ
ればＤチャンネルパケットによりファクシミリ通信を行
うことができる。
【００１４】このように通話状態のままファクシミリ通
信開始キー３ａをＯＮ操作すればよいので、操作が容易
となり操作性を向上できる。
【００１５】また通話しているＢ１　チャンネルと別の
Ｂ２　チャンネルを使用してファクシミリ通信を行うが
、このＢ２　チャンネルがたとえ使用中であってもＤチ
ャンネルパケットによりファクシミリ通信ができるので
、通話状態でのファクシミリ通信が確実にでき実用性を
向上できる。

【発明の効果】以上詳述したように本発明によれば、通
話中の電話を切ること無くファクシミリ通信開始の操作
により同一相手とのファクシミリ通信ができて操作性を
向上でき、しかもＢチャンネルが空いていない時にはＤ
チャンネルパケットでファクシミリ通信ができ実用性を
向上できるファクシミリ装置を提供できるものである。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】　　サービス総合デジタル網に接続され、
    電話機能を有するファクシミリ装置において、ダイヤル
    して電話接続した相手先電話番号を記憶する記憶手段と
    、ファクシミリ通信を開始させるファクシミリ通信開始
    キーと、通話中において前記ファクシミリ通信開始キー
    の操作があると、前記記憶手段から相手先電話番号を呼
    出しダイヤルして通話しているＢチャンネルとは別のＢ
    チャンネルの空き状態をチェックし、空いている時には
    その別のＢチャンネルを使用して通話中の相手とファク
    シミリ通信を行い、空いていない時にはＤチャンネルパ
    ケットで通話中の相手とファクシミリ通信を行うファク
    シミリ通信制御手段を設けたことを特徴とするファクシ
    ミリ装置。
