線を筆記部から軸筒後部へ移すので、思考が中断

るようにしたので、芯径の異なるシヤープペンシ
ルの場合は、異なる数字を表示した他の芯径表示
リングを代わりに嵌合させることができるので、
共通の口金本体を、芯径が異なる各種のシヤープ
ペンシルに使用できるという有利がある。すなわ
ち、形状が複雑な口金本体は芯径の相違に拘らず
共通に製作し、芯径の相違により先端パイプ、保
持チヤツク、及び芯径表示リングのみ替えること
で各種シヤープペンシルに対応できるので、口金
本体を安価に製作できる有利がある。更に、一般
に口金本体は筆記先端が見やすいようにテーパ形
状になつているので、口金本体に芯径を刻印、印
刷することは複雑な作業を要するのに対し、芯径
表示リングには芯径を容易に表示できるという有
