Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate handling and prevent the scattering of small pieces into a blood vessel and the side effect of solvent by allowing the blood vessel lesion closing material to consist of a solution containing the water-soluble high polymer having a plurality of monovalent anionic functional groups and a solution containing polyvalent cations, as main constituent.
CONSTITUTION: The functional group of a monovalent anion is preferably a carboxyl group, and the water-soluble high polymer is an alkali metal salt, and the polyvalent cation is a metal polyvalent cation, preferably calcium ion. Further, the solution which possesses the blood coagulation performance by itself can be used, or the blood coagulation performance can be applied at least on one between two liquids, or an X-ray contrast media is added, or medical agent can be added. Two kinds of liquids are mixed at a blood vessel repaired part or the vicinity, and preferably used in gel form, and further, introduced into a blood vessel lesion part or the vicinity by a catheter.
