Abstract

PURPOSE: To suppress the deformation of the supporting part and optical part of an intra-eye lens and the deflection of the intra-eye lens by holding the shape of a lenticular capsule to a ring form by the formation to a ring or nearly ring shape in the installation to the inside of the equator part of a lens bag and forming the diameter approximate to the diameter of the equator part of the capule.
CONSTITUTION: An intra-eye ring 30 is formed by cutting a ring-shaped body at one part and formed to a shape where the cut side is slightly spread. Each edge part 32, 32 in the cut state of the intra-eye ring 30 slightly bulges out, and the opposed edge surface at the edge parts 32 and 32 is made flat. The diameter R1 in the free state of the intra-eye ring 30 is larger than the diameter R in the equator part of a lenticular capule 16, and the diameter R2 in an inserted state into the lens bag 16 through compression is made equal to the diameter R of the equator part of the capsule 16. The intra-eye lens 30 possesses the elasticity for extending the equator part of the lens bag 16 to the outside over the whole periphery by a proper tension, in the state where the intra-eye lens 10 is inserted inside the lens bag 16.
