Abstract
PURPOSE: To automatically supply a small amount of a powder with high accuracy by pushing the powder in the groove of a supply wheel intermittently rotating by a minute angle by an impeller consisting of push-in blades whose tips come into contact with the supply wheel and stirring blades having notches at the tips thereof.
CONSTITUTION: An impeller 4 is rotated within a hopper 2 and a supply wheel 36 is intermittently rotated at the angle corresponding to a necessary supply amount by a pulse motor. The impeller 4 is rotated to uniformly push a powder in the groove of the supply wheel 36 by push-in blades 44 and the powder is sent to a supply part by the intermittent rotation of the supply wheel 36 to be scraped out of the supply port by a scraping member. By rotating stirring blades 43 and the push-in blades 44 coming into contact with the supply wheel 36 within the hopper 2, the formation of the bridge of the powder in the hopper 2 is prevented and the powder can be surely supplied to the supply wheel 36. The powder can be allowed to uniformly flow in because of the vibration due to the fine intermittent rotation of the supply wheel 36 and can be accurately supplied.
