Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve plant efficiency by installing a heat exchanger part which carries out heat exchange between steam and low boiling point medium, and a superheater on the low boiling point medium downstream side of the heat exchanger part, and to minimize the influence upon environment by decreasing the quantity of heat thrown away outside a system.
CONSTITUTION: Low boiling point medium heated in a cooling tube 14a by heat exchange in a condenser 14 is vaporized to be led to a superheater 15 installed on its downstream side. High temperature turbine extracted gas from a steam turbine is supplied to the superheater 15 to heat the low boiling point medium further. The low boiling point medium heated by the superheater 15 is fed to a gas turbine 16 to drive a generator 17. The generated output by the steam turbine 2 and the gas turbine 16 is approximately 43.7% for energy of fuel to be charged to improve energy efficiency by approximately 2%. It is thus possible to improve plant efficiency and minimize influence upon environment as much as possible by decreasing the quantity of heat.
