Abstract

PURPOSE: To realize simple structure and secure reliability as a device and to prevent its breakage by constituting at least one of the coupling parts of a push-up rod and a plunger in spherical surface abutting structure where two members abut on each other across a spherical surface, and energizing both members by springs.
CONSTITUTION: The coupling parts between the push-up rod 21 and a pedal 14 and the coupling part between the push-up rod 21 and plunger 27 are constituted in the spherical abutting structure and energized by the springs 33 and 38. Therefore, the torsion of the push-up rod 21 on its axis is never transmitted to the plunger 27 at the time of the assembly of this constitution. Further, the plunger 27 is driven by a pedal solenoid 27 while the pedal 14 is fixed, the springs 33 and 38 extend and contract to drive the plunger 27, so some member of the pedal structure is prevented from breaking with an excessive operating force. Consequently, the structure is simple and the manufacture and adjustment man-hours are reducible; and the durability is improved and the push-up rod, etc., can be prevented from breaking because of the extension of the springs.
