Abstract

PURPOSE: To prolong the life of a rotary head for rotating operation without increasing the number of parts by adding a projecting shape on the opposite side of a winding direction in the vicinity of the magnetic head soldering part of flexible printed circuit board (FPC) for magnetic head wiring.
CONSTITUTION: A rotary body 23 is rotated at 180° while rolling in an FPC 29. By providing a projection 29c in the FPC 29, the winding part of the FPC 29 is brought into contact with the surface of the projection 29c. Accordingly, even when the speed of revolution is increased, the internal part of the winding part 29s is not worn out. In an exit from a head mount 21 of the FPC 29, by receiving stress from the inside of the winding part 29a to the projection 29c, torsional stress is not loaded. Accordingly, the life of the soldering part to the FPC 29 and a head terminal can be prolonged. Thus, without increasing the number of the parts, the life of the rotary head for the rotating operation can be prolonged.
