Abstract

PURPOSE: To realize a metal halide lamp with continuously luminous elements at color temperatures of 7000-9500K all over a visible area by specifying the filling mole ratio of dysprosium to neodymium.
CONSTITUTION: For a metal halide lamp filled with at least dysprosium halide and neodymium halide, the filling mole ratio of dysprosium to neodymium is specified. In this case, the filling mole ratio of dysprosium to neodymium is 1:0 or 1:1.
