Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce noise entering a signal line, to prevent less margin for operation due to noise in a chip, to increase the scale of the chip and to accelerate the operation of the chip by disposing a power source line of a ground level under the line.
CONSTITUTION: A GND line 4 made of Al is wired underneath a signal line 2 through an insulating film 3. Since the GND line is arranged under the signal line, a capacitor is formed in the whole signal line to suppress noise, to prevent an erroneous operation of a circuit in a chip and to remove a cause of a defect due to a large scale of an IC against generation of noise by increasing a noise margin. When a substrate is of a P-type, the ground level of the GND line is more stabilized with the GND line connected to the substrate since the P-type substrate is normally biased to the GND.
