Bay windows have traditionally been used to expand indoor space, and some bay windows have spotlight-like lighting fixtures attached to the ceiling, but bay windows generally have lights on both sides and back. Because they are made of glass, it is difficult to run electrical wires along the sides and back of the bay window, and because it is difficult to wire inside the bay window, bay windows with electrical appliances attached to the back of the bay window are still not available. I wasn't there. Therefore, even if a mirror cabinet is installed inside the bay window, electrical appliances such as outlets and switches cannot be installed in the mirror cabinet. When using razors, hair dryers, etc., it is very inconvenient if there is no outlet to connect them to the mirror cabinet, and what is more, a switch is installed inside the bay window to operate the lighting equipment installed in the ceiling of the bay window. It was not possible to do so, and it was necessary to install a switch outside the bay window, making the installation troublesome.

Thus, in the bay window according to the present invention, the mirror cabinet 2 is attached to the back side of the bay window main body 1 whose rear surface and both sides are formed of glass and whose indoor side is open, and the mirror cabinet 2 is installed in the attic of the bay window main body 1. Attach lighting fixture 3 to the bottom of lighting fixture 3 and mirror cabinet 2.
The lighting cover plate 4 is removably attached to the bay window main body 1 at the upper end position, the electric wire 5 is passed through the bay window main body 1 at the upper side of the lighting cover plate 4, and a notch 6 is formed at the back end of the lighting cover plate 4. The notch 6 is located further back than the front end of the mirror cabinet 2, and the electric wire 5 is introduced into the mirror cabinet 2 from the upper surface of the mirror cabinet 2 through the notch 6. The present invention is characterized in that it is connected to an electric appliance 7 such as an outlet or a switch provided in the mirror cabinet 2, and with this configuration, the above object has been achieved, and the present invention will be described below. This will be explained in detail using examples.

る。 FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the present invention, in which the bay window main body 1 has an open indoor surface formed by upper and lower roofs 10, a counter 11, glass windows 12, 12 on both sides, and a glass plate 13 on the back side. It is formed into a box shape and is fixed to an opening provided in the outer wall 14 of the house by means of a lintel 15 and a window sill 16 so as to protrude to the outside. 17 is a picture frame provided at the opening of the bay window main body 1. A fluorescent lighting fixture 3 is attached to the attic portion of the bay window body 1, and a mirror cabinet 2 is attached to the rear end of the bay window body 1. The mirror cabinet 2 is formed of a cabinet 2a with a front opening and a mirror 2b attached to the opening so as to be rotatable so as to be openable and closable.
And mirror cabinet 2 has an outlet,
Electrical appliances 7 such as a switch in the lighting fixture 3 and a switch for an anti-fog heater provided on the back side of the mirror 2b are installed. Further, a lighting cover plate 4 is installed below the lighting fixture 3 at a height of the upper end of the mirror cabinet 2, and also serves as a ceiling plate that covers the entire attic. The lighting cover plate 4 is secured and placed on a receiving piece 18 provided to protrude into the bay window main body 1, and is attached by tightening a set screw 19. The lighting cover plate 4 is designed to be removable. Therefore, when wiring inside the bay window main body 1, the electric wire 5 passed through the outer wall 14 is guided to the attic of the bay window main body 1, connected to the lighting fixture 3, and then connected to the relay terminal 20.
The electric wire 5 branched by the upper frame 21 of the bay window main body 1
It is led to the back side of the bay window main body 1 in the attic by being hooked to a hook 22 provided in the attic. A notch 6 is provided at the rear end of the lighting cover plate 4, as shown in FIG. , an electric wire 5 is passed through the mirror cabinet 2 and connected to an electric appliance 7 and an anti-fog heater. The wiring in the attic can be done with the lighting cover plate 4 removed. Further, the lower surface of the roof 10 is lined with a heat insulating material 23 having a light reflecting function, such as white polyethylene foam or urethane foam covered with silver paper, and the heat insulating material 23 can prevent dew condensation from forming in the attic. The electrical safety of the wiring can be ensured, and since the heat insulating material 23 has a light reflecting function like white or silver paper, the lighting efficiency of the lighting equipment 3 is improved.

As mentioned above, in the present invention, a lighting fixture is installed in the attic of the bay window main body, and a lighting cover plate is installed inside the bay window main body below the lighting fixture and at the upper end of the mirror cabinet. Since the wires are passed through the bay window body on the upper side, the wires can be routed inside the bay window body using the light cover plate of the lighting equipment without exposing the wires, and the wires can be routed inside the bay window body at the back of the light cover plate. A notch is provided at the side end, the notch is located further back than the front end of the mirror cabinet, and the wire is inserted into the mirror cabinet from the top surface of the mirror cabinet through the notch. Since we decided to connect to the electrical equipment installed in the cabinet, the electric wires routed on the upper side of the lighting cover plate will be introduced into the mirror cabinet from the top surface through the notch located on the back side of the mirror cabinet. Therefore, the electric wire can be introduced into the mirror cabinet without being conspicuously exposed between the lighting cover plate and the mirror cabinet. In this way, even though the back and both sides of the bay window are made of glass, it is possible to wire the electric wires inside the bay window without making it noticeable. By attaching it to the mirror cabinet, it is possible to place electrical appliances such as outlets and switches inside the bay window body. In addition, the mirror cabinet can be equipped with electrical appliances such as outlets and switches, so when using an electric shaver, hair dryer, etc. while looking at the mirror of the mirror cabinet, you can install it in the mirror cabinet. You can conveniently use these electric shavers, hair dryers, etc. by connecting them to a wall outlet, and you can also connect the switch to operate the lighting equipment installed in the attic of the bay window by using the mirror cabinet. This eliminates the need to install a switch outside a bay window. Furthermore, since the lighting cover plate is removable, wiring in the attic and its repair work can be easily carried out with the lighting cover plate removed.
