Conventionally, this type of small rechargeable electric device has been equipped with first, second and third fixed electrodes 23a, 2 in conjunction with the sliding operation of the power switch 22, as shown in FIG.
In most cases, the AC adapter 11 charges the rechargeable battery 6 and the motor 5 is energized at the same time by simultaneously connecting the movable electrodes 3b and 23c. In this case, if the rechargeable battery 6 has sufficient capacity remaining, the current flowing into the rechargeable battery 6 will be small and the current supplied to the motor 5 will be sufficient, so there is no problem, but if the rechargeable battery 6 is completely discharged. When the AC adapter 11 is running, the current supplied from the AC adapter 11 to the rechargeable battery 6 is large, and since the rechargeable battery 6 is a capacitive load, the motor 5 is an inductive load, so voltage is applied to both at the same time. In this case, current flows to the rechargeable battery 6 side earlier than to the motor 5 side. Furthermore, the torque of the motor 5 is many times greater during startup than during steady rotation, and therefore there is a risk that the current supplied to the motor 5, that is, the starting torque, will be insufficient and a startup error may occur.

Further, the power switch 9 described above is configured with first and second switching means that are linked to the operation of the switch knob 15 and are turned on sequentially with a time difference, while the load 5 is configured with the first switching means,
The rechargeable battery 6 is connected in series with the second switching means, and each of the series connected devices is connected in parallel to the output side of the AC adapter 11, and the first switching means can be turned on before the second switching means. By doing so, it is an object of the present invention to provide a small rechargeable electric device that can supply sufficient power to the load 5 at the time of startup and prevents inconveniences such as startup errors.

The present invention is characterized by the procedure for applying voltage to the motor 5 and the rechargeable battery 6 when using the AC adapter 11. That is, when starting the motor 5, the starting torque of the motor 5 is large and the starting current is also required to be excessive compared to when the motor is rotating normally. By applying the output voltage from the AC adapter 11 to the rechargeable battery 6 when the rotation of the motor reaches a steady state and the current has settled down to a substantially constant value, the motor 5 can be prevented from starting incorrectly. It is intended to prevent

At this time, current is also supplied to the rechargeable battery 6, but this current is regulated to a sufficiently low level by the resistor 21, so the power required to start the motor 5 is AC
Sufficient power is supplied from the adapter 11, so that the motor 5 starts stably.

When the slide knob 15 is further slid, the third contact 19c comes into contact with the second fixed electrode 12b as shown in FIG. A larger current is supplied than before. At this time, the motor 5 is already within a stable operating range, the power consumption of the motor 5 is small, and the supply of charging current to the rechargeable battery 6 has no adverse effect on the operation of the motor 5.

Note that the power switch 9 is not limited to a slide type, but may be a push button type. In this case, by providing two sets of switches that turn on in conjunction with the push operation, and by slightly shifting the on timings of both switches, the same operation as described above becomes possible.

As described above, the present invention is a small electric device that switches between two power sources, the rechargeable battery 6 and the AC adapter 11, and also charges the rechargeable battery 6 at the same time when the AC adapter 11 is used.
When turning on the power switch 9, the output voltage of the AC adapter 11 is first applied to the inductive load 5 such as a motor, the load 5 is started and operated stably, and then the rechargeable battery 6 is energized. This has the advantage that the inductive load 5 can be prevented from malfunctioning during starting, such as a starting error in the motor.
