Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of input terminals of a grating-like wiring and to provide a highly accurate image display device by serially connecting plural electric field effect transistors(FETs) to an image display element and inputting respectively different signal to the gate electrodes of respective FETs. CONSTITUTION:The FETs 101 to 103 are connected in series and then connected to the image display element 104. The gate and source electrodes of the FET 101 are respectively connected to a scanning signal input line 105 and an image signal input line 106 and the gate electrodes of the FETs 102, 103 are respectively connected to an X block selection line 107 and a Y block selection line 108. The scanning signal input lines 105 and image signal input lines 106 of respective unit constituting elements are connected like gratings and the X block selection line 107 and the Y block selection lines 108 are collectively connected in some unit constituting elements. The constitution makes it possible to reduce the number of input terminals of the grid-shaped wiring.
