A so-called bayonet type cap has a locking pin protruding from the side surface of a cylindrical cap shell. There are two methods for fixing such a cap by driving a hollow or solid pin into the side of the cap shell, and then filling the shell with insulating glass. There is a method of forming a shell and filling the shell with insulating glass.

Thus, when the shell is filled with insulating glass, a portion of the hollow locking pin flows into the pin and reinforces it, so it has sufficient strength. However, on the other hand, the conventional pins have various problems as described below depending on the conditions when insulating glass is injected.

(1) If the glass temperature during injection is low, the entire space inside the locking pin will not be filled with glass, and therefore the strength of the pin will be low.

(2) If the glass temperature during injection is too high, the glass that fills the pin will shrink as it cools after solidifying, reducing the adhesion with the inner surface of the pin.
Furthermore, there is a risk that the glass will crack and pieces will fall out.

(3) In the event that even a portion of the glass inside the pin falls off, the fragments will float around in the cap, and vibrations may cause the fragments to collide with the tube body and damage it.

By making the tip of the hollow locking pin concave, the volume of the internal space of the pin is reduced, and the contact area between the inner surface of the pin and the glass surface is increased, making it easier to fill with glass and improving the contact between the glass and the inner surface of the pin. This increases the adhesion of the

The details of the invention will be explained by means of illustrated embodiments. FIG. 1 shows a small incandescent light bulb to which the present invention is applied, where 1 is the light bulb body and 2 is a bayonet type cap according to the present invention attached to the body 1. .
As shown in an enlarged view in FIG. 2, this cap 2 has a hollow locking pin 4 integrally protruded from the side surface of a metal cylindrical cap shell 3 by stamping, and an eyelet provided at the top of this shell 3. Insulating glass 6 for insulating and fixing 5 is injected into shell 3, and a portion of this glass 6 fills locking pin 4. Then, the shell 3 is fitted onto the base 11 of the main body 1 and fixed with an adhesive 7, and the lead wire 12 is connected to the eyelet 5 with a solder 8.

The feature of the present invention is that a concave portion 42 is provided on the distal end surface 41 of the locking pin 4. In particular, in this embodiment, this concave portion 4 is provided as shown in FIG.
2 is formed into a conical shape and is arranged concentrically with the pin 4.

In this example cap 2, the concave portion 42 was provided on the distal end surface 41 of the locking pin 4 as described above, so that the following effects were obtained.

(1) Since the internal space of the locking pin 4 has become smaller, when the molten insulating glass 6 is injected, the glass 6 easily penetrates into the pin 4 and fills it, eliminating the generation of air bubbles and voids, and improving the breaking strength of the pin 4. improved.

(2) Since the inner area of the pin 4 has increased, the welding surface 43 of the glass 6 has increased and the adhesion strength has increased.
In addition, distortion caused by the difference in thermal expansion between the pin 4 and the glass 6 is also absorbed, eliminating the risk of the glass 6 peeling off or fragments falling off.
The light bulb body 1 is no longer damaged by broken glass 6.

In particular, in this embodiment, since the concave portion 42 is formed into a conical shape, it can be easily formed by press molding even though the diameter of the pin 4 is only 1.8 to 2.0 mm, and the temperature of the glass 6 can be slightly reduced. Even if the temperature of the glass 6 is too low, it penetrates and fills every corner of the pin 4, and even if the temperature of the glass 6 is a little too high, it adheres well to the inner surface of the pin 4, eliminating the risk of it peeling off. In addition, in the above-mentioned embodiment, the concave portion 42 is particularly formed in a conical shape, but the present invention is not limited to this, and may have a cylindrical shape, a hemispherical shape, a pyramid shape, a thin shape, etc. But that's fine. Further, the locking pin 4 may be a cylinder fixed by a driving method, and it is sufficient that the locking pin 4 is hollow and the inside communicates with the inside of the shell 3.

Thus, the cap of the present invention is not limited to the type of tube to be attached.

The tube cap of the present invention has a hollow locking pin protruding from the side surface of the cap shell that communicates with the inside of the shell, and a portion of the insulating glass filled in the shell flows into the pin. The tip of the locking pin is recessed, so when molten insulating glass is injected, the glass penetrates and fills every corner of the pin, increasing the breaking strength of the pin and ensuring close contact between the inner surface of the pin and the glass. Since the area is large and distortion caused by thermal expansion differences is absorbed, the adhesion strength is high and there is no risk of cracking or peeling, and therefore there is no risk of damage to the tube body due to peeling pieces.
