Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily judge scheduled time for broadcasting a recorded program from date memory data by defining the data, to which a date is recorded to be superimposed to a video signal, as a target value.
CONSTITUTION: By the exchange of the data between a decoder 6 and timer circuit 9, the real value of the broadcasting program is compared with the target value, which is set by a user in advance, and when these values are coincident, a VTR starts recording. At such a time, the timer circuit 9 outputs the signal corresponding to the data as the target value and the signal is inputted to a character recording circuit 3. In such a way, the date data to be sent from the timer circuit 9 are superimposed to the video signal to be outputted from a signal processing circuit 2 in the character recording circuit 3 and afterwards, the video signal is recorded through a recording amplifier 4 to a tape 8 by a video head 5 and displayed. Thus, the target value such as the scheduled time for broadcasting the program can be easily judged from the data to which the date is recorded.
