対の挟持片が延設された主ケースと、 前記光フアイバケーブルが一端に接続され、前
記主ケースの一対の挟持片間に、前記接続用コネ
クタの長手方向に回動自在に挟持される回動ケー
スと、 前記主ケースと前記回動ケースの間を接続する
接続ケーブルとを有し、 前記光フアイバケーブルを屈曲させることなく
、前記回動ケースの回動面内の任意の方向から取
付けられることを特徴とする光モデム装置。 2 請求項1記載の光モデム装置において、 前記主ケースの一対の挟持片の少なくとも一方
の内側面に、前記回動ケースの回動中心から前記
主ケース方向に伸びるガイド溝が形成され、この
ガイド溝に前記接続ケーブルを収納し、前記回動
ケースの回動時にも前記接続ケーブルの位置がず
れないように保持されていることを特徴とする光
モデム装置。 3 請求項1又は2記載の光モデム装置において
、前記回動ケースには、少なくとも、光フアイバ
ケーブルにより送られてくる光信号を電気信号に
変換する受光素子と、前記受光素子により変換さ
れた電気信号を増幅する増幅手段と、送出すべき
電気信号を光信号に変換する発光素子とが搭載さ
れていることを特徴とする光モデム装置。 4 請求項3記載の光モデム装置において、前記
受光素子及び前記増幅手段への電源ラインを、前
記発光素子への電源ラインと独立にしたことを特
