Prior art For example, in the case of a continuous construction method in which fixed-length veneers are cut to a fixed length by a fixed-length cutting device and stacked in a continuous state, the fixed-length veneers are stacked between the fixed-length veneers when being carried into the stacking device. It was necessary to provide intervals depending on the operating time of the device. For this reason, conventionally, a plurality of conveyance devices are arranged in a multi-tiered manner on the output side of a fixed-length cutting device, and a sorting device that swings and switches the conveyance path according to each conveyance device is arranged. By swinging the fixed-length veneers, the fixed-length veneers are sequentially transferred to each conveying device, thereby forming a gap between the fixed-length veneers. However, in this type of separating and conveying device, the sorting device is swung to the next conveying device while the rear end side of the fixed length veneer is not completely transferred onto the predetermined conveying device. The leading end of the next standard-length veneer must be transferred to the oscillated conveyance device, and the timing of the swinging of the sorting device and the transfer timing of the front end or rear end of the standard-length veneer must be There was a problem in that it was difficult to match the numbers, and it was not possible to separate and transport at high speed. If the above-mentioned timings do not match, there is a risk that the front end side or the rear end side of the fixed length veneer will be pinched by the sorting device and the conveyance device and break.

In addition, the sizing accumulation device disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 56-12485 uses a pricking conveyance device to prick and convey veneers to the upper side in the conveying direction of each conveying device arranged in a multi-stage manner in a state where they are connected to each other. After that, the peeling bar of the nail removal mechanism that corresponds to the transfer device to be transferred is pressed against the tip of the veneer to release the stuck state, and the veneers are sequentially transferred onto the transfer device while creating a space between each veneer. was, but
This type of device also had the same drawbacks as the device described above. That is, when the veneers that are connected to each other are transported to a predetermined conveyance device with sticking, the peeling bar is pressed to release the sticking, so that the front end side or the rear end side of the veneer is likely to be broken. . Particularly in the case of veneers with cracks in some parts, the cracks tended to be further exacerbated by the pressing of the peeling bar.

Furthermore, in both of the above methods, the cut veneers are transported to a certain extent and then separated onto each transport device, and separation cannot be ensured since the veneers may overlap each other due to disturbances in their posture during transport. It also had some problems.

A cutting blade 5 having a blade is attached to the cutter roll 2 in the axial direction thereof, and an elastic member 6 such as rubber or urethane is coated on the outer peripheral side of the cutting blade 5. The cutting edge of the cutting blade 5 protrudes from the outer circumferential surface of the elastic member 6 by a distance greater than the thickness of the one-piece veneer S to be cut to a fixed length. The circumferential length of the cutter roll 2 is an integral multiple (any integer other than 0, in this example, 1l) of a predetermined length l corresponding to the length of the fixed-length veneer Sa in the conveyance direction,
A puncture body relief groove 7 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the cutter roll 2 corresponding to a puncture body 10 to be described later. As the cutter roll 2 is driven to rotate, it cooperates with the separation roll 3 to cut the one-piece veneer S carried in by the carry-in conveyor 8 to a predetermined length l corresponding to its circumference.

A first conveying device 20 and a second conveying device 21 are arranged in two stages on the discharge side of the cutter roll 2 and separation roll 3. The conveying speed of the first and second conveying devices 20 and 21 is determined by the fixed length veneer Sa transferred onto these first and second conveying devices 20 and 21.
It is arbitrarily set according to the interval width provided between them, and these first and second conveying devices 20, 21, the cutter roll 2 and the separating roll 3
When the conveyance speed is made equal to the conveyance speed, the width between the transferred fixed-length veneers Sa becomes the predetermined length l, and when the cutter roll 2 and separation roll 3 are driven at high speed, The width between the shaku veneers Sa is set to a predetermined length l or more. A peeling bar 22 is disposed on the upper side of the second conveying device 21 in the conveying direction, and the tip of the peeling bar 22 is connected to the groove 1.
It is located within 1. As a result, the peeling bar 22
intersects with the prick conveying surface of the prick conveying area 3a,
The fixed length veneer Sa held by the stabbing body 10 is released from the stabbing and is transferred onto the second conveying device 21.

Note that, for example, first and second depositing devices (not shown) are respectively disposed downstream of the first conveying device 20 and the second conveying device 21 in the conveying direction. The first and second stacking devices support both ends of the fixed-length veneer Sa carried in by the first conveying device 20 and the second conveying device 21 in the direction perpendicular to the conveyance direction, and also support the fixed-length veneer Sa carried in by the first conveying device 20 and the second conveying device 21. When the front end passes the falling position detector, it is pushed out in the direction perpendicular to the conveyance, resulting in a fixed-length veneer.
An opening/closing conveyor that releases support from Sa and a fixed length veneer
It consists of a lifter on which Sa is deposited.
The opening/closing conveyor is opened only when the falling position detector changes to the single plate detection state while the single plate detector is in the single plate detection state. On the other hand, for veneers whose width in the transport direction is less than the distance between the veneer detector and the falling position detector, the opening operation of the opening/closing conveyor is regulated, so they are transported outside the first and second stacking devices as they are transported by the opening/closing conveyor. is discharged to.

When the one-piece veneer S is carried in by the carry-in conveyor 8, the front end of the veneer S is cut into a predetermined shape according to the circumference of the cutter roll 2 by the cutting blade 5, which is rotated and driven regardless of the carrying state of the front end. After being cut to have a width in the transport direction that is less than or equal to the length l, it is sequentially cut to a fixed length into a fixed length veneer Sa having a predetermined length l corresponding to the circumferential length of the cutter roll 2. Furthermore, since the rotational position of the cutter blade 5 coincides with the leading edge of the sticking conveyance area 3a and the non-stick conveyance area 3b, the separation roll 3 rotating at the same speed as the cutter roll 2 is rotated as shown in FIG. Almost simultaneously with the cutting, the fixed-length veneer Sa is stabbed and held by the stabbing body 10 in the stabbing conveyance area 3a and transferred to the second conveying device 21 side, and as shown in FIG. The fixed length veneer Sa is transferred to the first conveying device 2.
Separated and conveyed alternately to the 0 side. The fixed length veneer Sa stuck and held by the piercing body 10 is separated by a separation roll 3.
As it rotates, it is pressed against the peeling bar 22, so that the pricking state by the pricking body 10 is released and the pricking body 10 is transferred onto the second conveyance device 21. Further, since the fixed-length veneer Sa corresponding to the non-prick transport area 3b is restricted from being pricked by the pricking body 10, it is transferred onto the first transport device 20. The fixed-length veneers Sa separated and carried onto the first and second conveying devices 20 and 21 are transferred to a stacking device (not shown) with an interval 30 between them depending on the conveying speed. transported.

Therefore, in this embodiment, the one-piece veneer S carried in as the cutter roll 2 is rotated is cut into a predetermined length l.
At the same time, the fixed length veneer Sa is cut into a fixed length each time, and at the same time, the fixed length veneer Sa is transferred to the first and second transport devices 20, 2 by the puncture transport region 3a and the non-stick transport region 3b of the separating device.
It is possible to alternately separate and convey the materials onto the same surface, thereby speeding up the separation and conveyance work. In addition, since the veneer is separated and conveyed at the same time as being cut to a fixed length, disturbances in the conveying posture of the fixed length veneer Sa are restricted, and the damage rate thereof can be reduced.

Furthermore, although this embodiment has a structure in which a large number of puncture bodies 10 are provided substantially uniformly in the puncture and conveyance area 3a, the present invention has, for example, made the attached state of the puncture bodies in the conveyance area a little shorter, and the rear end side is not implanted. For example, a configuration in which the piercing bodies are mounted densely at the front end of the conveyance area and loose at the middle and rear ends, etc., does not necessarily ensure that the piercing bodies are mounted uniformly over the entire conveyance area. Separate transportation is possible without planting.
