Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect the initial position of a rotor while maintaining a rotor stopped by operating by using proportional integration speed control means for controlling the rotating speed of the rotor by latching the output of speed detecting means and a speed command signal as if there is a position control loop. CONSTITUTION:Since energizing means A1-A3 are sequentially controlled by first logic calculating means B1 to successively control exciting currents Iu-Iw, a rotor 1 starts rotating. When the rotor 1 rotates at a predetermined amount or more, it is detected by overrotation means F. Second logic calculating means B2 detects a position of the rotor 1 where the rotor 1 is rotated at a predetermined amount or more by a detection output from the means F, and calculates the initial position of the rotor 1 from the detection position. Proportional integration speed control means Com latches the output of speed detecting means Sd and a speed command signal Cd, and operates as if a position control loop is used.

(Prior art) Conventional membrane brushless motors have a magnetic pole detecting means such as a Hall element, and each driving coil is energized and driven in response to a detection signal from the magnetic pole detecting means to rotate the rotor. It has become. However, such brushless motors have the following various problems due to the use of magnetic pole detection means. That is, since it is necessary to arrange the magnetic pole detecting means inside the rotor, it is difficult to miniaturize the magnetic pole detecting means, and the number of terminals of the magnetic pole detecting means is large, making it difficult to route the circuit pattern on the circuit board. When a Hall element is used as a magnetic pole detection means, there are variations in the chip position in the package, and the motor characteristics vary. When the current in the drive coil increases, a magnetic field from the stator that is not an original signal enters the magnetic pole detection means, causing a phase shift in the output of the magnetic pole detection means and a shift in the timing of rectification.

In order to solve these problems, a brushless motor drive circuit that eliminates the magnetic pole detection means was developed, and this drive circuit is used as a sensorless brushless motor drive circuit.
It has been converted into C. This detects the magnetic pole position of the rotor from the back electromotive force of each drive coil, and controls the energization of each drive coil in accordance with this detection signal. According to this sensorless brushless motor, various problems caused by having a magnetic pole detection means can be solved.

However, because it is necessary to detect the back electromotive force, even if the power is on, once the power is stopped, the back electromotive force cannot be obtained, and the initial operation must be performed again to detect the magnetic pole. When the power is turned on, it is necessary to move the rotor a large distance to perform the rotor position detection operation, that is, the initial setting operation. It could not be used in cases where it would be a problem if the motor moved during operation.

According to the invention of the above-mentioned application, the energizing means is sequentially controlled by the logical operation means to control the excitation current, and when the rotor starts to rotate and rotates by more than a predetermined amount, this position is detected and the initial position of the rotor is detected. To calculate the initial position of the rotor, the rotor only needs to be rotated to the extent that only a few pulses are output at the encoder output level, which is equivalent to almost no movement, so for example, , 1%! It can also be applied to objects such as robots and machine tools that must not move during the initial operation. Additionally, unlike conventional sensorless brushless motors, there is no need to detect the back electromotive force of the drive coil, even if the rotor stops while the power is on.

Since the initial position OO of the rotor before power is turned on is uncertain,
Excitation current pattern to the drive coil and rotor position o
f deviates from the predetermined correspondence relationship. If the coil is energized in this state, the rotor cannot rotate because the position command is O in the initial state and the control loop for stopping is set. Strictly speaking, the two-rotor repeats rotation by small angles alternately in the forward and reverse directions, but in the present invention, this state is defined as "stop J."

When the command signal θC that determines the excitation current pattern is changed to change the excitation current conduction pattern to the drive coil, the transfer function from the current command of the control loop to the torque output changes, and when a certain point is reached, the control loop becomes correct. The motor goes into a feedback state, that is, an oscillation state, and the motor becomes uncontrollable and runs out of control. In the present invention, this state is defined as "rotation" in the sense of rotation by more than a certain window.

The encoder E has a phase of, for example, 9 depending on the rotation of the rotor 1.
Outputs a two-phase pulsed rotation signal shifted by 0'. Next, when the 6-rotor 1 rotates once and the number of pulses output from the encoder E reaches 360, the counter C is cleared and its output θc1 becomes O. Further, the rotational direction of the rotor is detected from the phase difference between the two-phase output pulses of the encoder E, and depending on the rotational direction, it is switched between up-counting and down-counting, and up-counting is performed for forward rotation, and down-counting is performed for reverse rotation.

When the power is turned on, the initial value of the counter C1 and the position of rotor 1 do not have a predetermined correspondence relationship, that is, θC=of, so an initial operation is performed to detect the position of the rotor, and A value θ0 corresponding to the position is input to the counter C1, and the initial value of the counter C0 is set to the above value Oo. This initial setting operation will be specifically explained below.

Here, the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 is expressed in a simple block diagram as shown in FIG. 8. In FIG. 8, H is the transfer function of the speed detection means Sd, M y+(M2/S) is the transfer function of the proportional-integral speed control means Corn, and J is the inertia of the motor and load. As is clear from Figures 7 and 8, when θd is between 90'' and 270°, the feedback of velocity and position becomes positive, the control system oscillates and becomes unstable, and the motor runs out of control. Due to the runaway of the motor, the over-rotation detection means F is turned on and outputs a detection signal.

The proportional-integral speed control means Cam has an integral element and a proportional element as described above, and can be called a PI filter. Since the output e of the integral element is obtained by integrating the speed deviation over time, it has the same dimension as the rotor position, and can be considered to have detected the rotor position. Therefore, if the value of M2 in FIG. 2 is sufficiently large, in the speed control system as shown in FIG. be exposed. Here, the speed command signal is O, that is, the initial value e of the integral element at speed=O1. When is set to O, if the rotor rotates even a little, a signal e is output which is proportional to the amount of rotation and has an opposite sign, so the rotor operates to return to its initial position. From the above, by using the proportional-integral speed control means Col+, the rotor can be stopped as if using a position control loop.

Therefore, in this embodiment, the value of Oc is swept while the motor is stopped using a speed control loop, and the value of Od is changed. Runaway starts when Od falls within the range of 90'' to 270'', so the over-rotation detection means F detects the point at which this runaway starts, and the value Oc' of θC at that time is taken. The second logic operation means B2 has the above value θC
' is applied to θ0 = θc' -90... (6), the rotor position Of at that time is obtained, and the value is stored in the counter C.
The initial setting value of 1 is Oo.

The value determined by equation (6) is outputted as a command signal Oc2 via the first logical calculation means B2, and the rotor is stopped again by speed control. After confirming the stop, the counter C1 is set to the initial 1tll value θ0 by the second logic operation means B2. Thereafter, the first and second switching means sw1. sw2 is switched to the contact ■ side, and the operation shifts to normal operation.
