Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the circuit constitution and to facilitate the circuit integration by varying two control potentials in the same direction by the same width when the gain is varied.
CONSTITUTION: A 1st pair of FETs comprising parallel connection of two FETs Q1, Q1' and a 2nd pair of FETs comprising parallel connection of two FETs Q2,Q2' are connected in series between power terminals 20 and 21. Moreover, a signal input terminal 22 connects to a gate of one FET Q1 of the 1st pair of the FETs and an output terminal 23 connects to a connecting point between the 1st pair FET and the 2nd pair set. Furthermore, control terminals 241, 242 applying different control potential to the gate of the other FET Q1, of the 1st pair FET and one FET Q2' of the 2nd pair FET are connected. Then in the case of varying the gain, the two control potentials are varied in the same direction by the same width. Thus, the circuit integration is easily attained with simple circuit constitution and since no operating point compensation circuit is required, a comparatively low bias voltage such as 2 or 3V is enough for the purpose.
