(Prior Art) The present applicant has developed such a light-emitting display by arranging a large number of light-emitting elements in a row and connecting them to a plurality of conductive wires, and using a rod-shaped resin whose light-emitting surface is transparent at least. Various types of bendable light-emitting displays have already been proposed which are entirely encapsulated in a flexible envelope consisting of a filler.

These light-emitting displays can be bent in any direction,
Although it is convenient because bending can be performed freely, there are still some points that need to be improved as described below.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) In other words, the above-mentioned light-emitting display body bends by utilizing its own flexible elasticity, and it is difficult to bend the light-emitting display body in complex and minute bends or in large bends of 90 degrees or more. In this case, a large resistance will be applied, which will impair the effect of allowing easy and free bending. Moreover, when this light-emitting display is mounted on the surface to be mounted via an appropriate mounting tool, a large resistance will be applied to this mounting tool. There was a risk that the mounting tool would come off the surface to which it was mounted due to the effect of elastic repulsion.

The present invention was devised to solve this problem, and while being able to bend into any shape,
It does not require a large force to bend, and can be bent easily and freely. Moreover, it does not receive large elastic repulsion while maintaining the bent shape, and as a result, the surface to which it is attached The object of the present invention is to provide a light-emitting display that can be easily and quickly attached to a device using a simple-structured fixture.

(Means for Solving the Problems) To this end, the present invention consists of a flexible envelope made of a rod-shaped resin filling whose light-emitting surface side is transparent, and a large number of conductive wires connected to each other. In a light-emitting display body formed by embedding light-emitting elements in a row,
The gist of the present invention is that cut grooves having an appropriate depth and long in the circumferential direction from the surface toward the center are formed in the flexible envelope at predetermined intervals in the length direction.

(Function) With this configuration, when this rod-shaped light emitting display is bent into an arbitrary shape such as a heart shape, among the cut grooves on both sides, the group of cut grooves on the inside of the bend closes, and the cut on the outside of the bend closes. The group of grooves opens and can be bent with little force and with little resistance.

On the other hand, the conductive wires 21 and 22 are both made of copper wire covered with an insulating film, and the connection portion with the light emitting element 1 is made into a bare wire by removing the insulating film, and this bare wire portion is Terminal 1 of light emitter element 1
1 and 12 are connected by means such as soldering. In addition, when using bare wires as the conductive wires 21 and 22, after connecting the connection terminals 11 and 12 of the light emitting element 1 by means such as soldering, apply varnish or the like made of various resins such as polyurethane resin. It may be used as an insulating film. Also, both conductive wires 2

The conductive wires 21 and 22 may be wound in a meandering manner as shown in the figure, or the conductive wires 21 and 22 may be spirally wound as shown in FIG. The tensile force can be absorbed and relaxed (compressive force acts on the conductive wire 22 or 21 which becomes inside when bent). The absorption and relaxation of elongation acting on the conductive wires 21 and 22 is not limited to this structure, and may be any structure.

These light-emitting elements 1... and conductive wires 21, 22 are embedded in the flexible envelope 3 so that the rows of light-emitting elements 1 are located along the center line, forming the intended light-emitting display. . The flexible envelope 3 has a flexible rod shape with a rectangular or circular cross section and is made of a resin filling (sealing resin) such as soft polypinyl chloride resin, acrylic resin, polyethylene resin, polycarbonate resin, silicone rubber, etc. The entire structure is translucent, and is preferably constructed so as to have light diffusing properties by containing a light diffusing agent or the like. However, it is not essential that the entire flexible envelope 3 be made translucent as in this embodiment; it is sufficient that at least the light-emitting surface side is made of a translucent material; It is desirable that a light reflecting layer 31 is formed in areas other than the light-transmitting part by using a resin mixed with a light reflecting agent such as aluminum flakes, or metal vapor deposition to increase the luminous intensity. Further, the flexible envelope 3 may be formed of a colored translucent resin to enhance the display effect.

The present invention provides a light-emitting display having the above-described structure, in which cut grooves 32...33 having appropriate depth and long in the circumferential direction from the surface to the center are provided on both sides of the flexible envelope 3 following the light-emitting surface side. ... are formed at predetermined intervals in the length direction, so that when the light emitting display body is bent, substantially when the flexible envelope 3 is bent based on its own elasticity, each cut groove 32... 33... promotes the bending, that is, among the cut grooves 32...33 on both sides, the cut groove on the inside of the bend is closed, and the cut groove on the outside of the bend is opened, so that the flexible envelope 3 This allows bending to occur with less force and less resistance.

Note that the cut grooves 32 and 33 may be formed so that the groove width becomes larger toward the outside as shown in FIG. 5, so that the radius of curvature during bending can be further reduced. Further, the cut grooves 32...33... may be formed so as to face each other on both sides, but may also be arranged in a staggered manner as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7. Furthermore, when the cross-sectional shape of the flexible envelope 3 is circular, an annular cut groove 34 is formed over the entire outer periphery as shown in FIG.

(Effect of the invention) As explained above, according to the light emitting display according to the invention, a plurality of conductive wires are connected within a flexible envelope made of a rod-shaped resin filler whose light-emitting surface side is transparent. In the light-emitting display body formed by embedding a large number of light-emitting elements in a row, the flexible envelope is provided with cut grooves of an appropriate depth that are long in the circumferential direction from the surface toward the center. Since they are formed at intervals, these cut grooves can promote bending of the rod-shaped flexible envelope, and when bent, the cut grooves on the inside of the bend close, The cut grooves on the outside of the bending are opened and the light emitting display can be bent freely into a desired shape with a small force. In addition, maintaining this bent shape does not require large elastic repulsion forces, and it can be easily and quickly mounted to the surface to be mounted using a simple mounting device such as a suction cup. I was able to get it done.
