For example, the base plate is extended and joined to the frame at the end of the bay window. They are fixed to the building frame with bolts, and the outer periphery of these bay windows is covered with board materials. In such a conventional example, the space between the aluminum sash frame at the end of the bay window and the building opening is covered with a plate material, such as an aluminum die-cast material, which is expensive. If a plate material other than aluminum die-casting is used, the shape of the mounting part is complicated, which requires a lot of man-hours, the seams are exposed, and care must be taken to prevent rain, and the design is unimpressive. The arms and stay bolts mentioned above are connected to the building frame, and all other members serve as loads. There are problems such as a large number of parts and a complicated configuration. Jitsukai Showa 53-
In the metal bay window shown in Publication No. 114130, the upper and lower frames and both side frames each integrally form a projecting portion and a door installation portion provided at the tip side of the projecting portion. However, if such a one-piece bay window is used, the entire window must be newly manufactured when the window is changed, making it difficult to respond to diversification.

The first method is to insert the picture frame 1 into the opening of the building and place it on the window sill 9 with the pillars 7, side panels 13, lintel 8 and top panel 11.
Insert the liners 7a and 8a between them and temporarily secure them. Then, insert the aluminum part of the assembled bay window into the wooden frame 1 from the outside and fix both with the wood screws 61, 74, 84.The roof mounting flange 35 is brought into contact with the lintel 8, and the bottom plate is brought into contact with the window sill 9. Adjust the fit of the frame 1 so that the mounting flange 36 of the frame 1 and the mounting flange 37 of the side frame that are in contact with the pillar 7 are in contact with the pillars 7, 7, the lintel 8, and the window sill 9, and the mounting flanges 35, 36, 37 The wood screws 38 are inserted into the respective wood screw holes and fixed to the lintel 8, window sill 9, and pillar 7. Then, the liners 7a and 8a are further pushed between the side plate 13 and the pillar 7 of the picture frame 1, and between the top plate 11 and the lintel 8.

4 and 84, insert the picture frame 1 into the opening of the building from the outside, and push the liner 8a between the lintel 8 and the top plate 11, and the liner 7a between the pillar 7 and the side plate 13 to fit it. Adjust the sash frame of the bay window and fix it to the lintel 8, window sill 9, and pillar 7 of the frame of the Fugo building using wood screws 38.

After fixing one mounting plate of the hinge 85 with the setscrew 88, the other mounting plate of the hinge 85 is fixed to the vertical frame 16.
The machine screw 86 is inserted into the machine screw hole of the hinge 85 and screwed into the female thread of the vertical frame 16. However, due to the inclination of the diagonal part 43, the screwdriver's tool handle part Since it's external, you can easily use a regular screwdriver, or even a nut runner. That is, since the inner rectangle of both sleeve parts 3 in the left-right direction is, for example, 15 cm, if the member plate surface that the hinge mounting plate contacts faces toward the direction of the mullion 41, as in a normal vertical frame, the screwdriver will not work properly. The handle will hit the mullion 41, or even if it does not, the workability will be extremely poor. The panel board 101 has an upper frame 14 and a lower frame 1.
5. Attach to the area surrounded by the mullions 41, 41 by a known method (description omitted).

ある。 In the example, the wooden frame consisting of the top plate, base plate, and side plates that protrude outside is the upper frame, lower frame of the sash frame at the end of the bay window,
Since the outer periphery of the vertical frame is covered by the roof, bottom plate, and side plates, not only does the wood not corrode and the durability is increased, but it also has a beautiful appearance as shown in Fig. 7.

The airtightness of the roof soffit is good.

Although this method is used in conjunction with the above method, it goes without saying that it can also be used when attaching the bay window end frame to a building opening using armrests and stay bolts.

This idea consists of a roof with the width of a bay window and an attachment part to the building at the indoor end, a side plate, and a bottom plate, which are assembled in four directions to form the box side. Since the bay window is characterized in that it has a mounting part for a sash opening frame, and a sash opening frame having an upper frame, a lower frame, and a vertical frame is attached to the mounting part, (1) an upper frame at the end of the bay window; The vertical frame and bottom frame are separate from the box-shaped roof, side plates, and bottom plate, so
When choosing the arrangement of shoji in the opening at the end of the bay window,
There is no need to make the entire bay window completely different, and it is possible to respond to the diversification of bay windows.

The bay window is strong because the roof and upper frame are both fixed.
