なる排気ガス浄化用触媒コンバータにおいて、上
記入口ケーシング及び出口ケーシングの触媒コン
テナと接続するフランジ部の内面に触媒押え板を
溶着すると共に、この触媒押え板と上記入口ケー
シング及び出口ケーシングの漏斗部との間に遮熱
板を溶接して、上記入口ケーシング及び出口ケー
シングの上記触媒コンテナとの接続部に断熱空間
部を形成し、且つ上記触媒コンテナ内面と触媒と
の間に断熱空間部を形成し、これら断熱空間部の
空間層厚を３０mm以上にしたことを特徴とする固
