Abstract

PURPOSE: To surely prevent the collision of a hand with an obstruction, by providing a means which outputs the stoppage signal of the hand when the arithmetic speed exceeds a reference speed value in comparison with the reference speed value of a memory device.
CONSTITUTION: When the distance between a hand 3 and an obstruction (work placing base) 4 is intermittently measured by a noncontact distance measuring device 61, an arithmetic device 62 operates the speed based on plural distance measuring values. The hand 3 is stopped by outputting the stoppage signal of the hand 3 from a parallel in and output device 64, when this speed exceeds the reference speed value in comparison with the reference speed value of a memory device 63. Thus, the collision of the hand 3 and obstruction 4 can be prevented.
