Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent an accident such as an imperfect contact, an electric shock, fault currents, etc., by insulating and isolating a primary coil and a secondary coil, installing a detector detecting the state of an output on the secondary side of an output transformer and lowering the output voltage of the primary coil.
CONSTITUTION: When an inverter 8 is oscillated and operated, AC power is generated in the secondary coil 2b of an output transformer 1, and fed to a load circuit 12. When a no-load state is brought, the change of the impedance of the load circuit 12 is detected by a detector 9 as the fluctuation of the output frequency of the inverter 8, and a switch 10 is opened. A current-limiting element 6 connected in parallel with the switch 10 is operated, an output from the inverter 8 is reduced, and a weak output is obtained from the secondary side of the output transformer 1. When load is connected again and the no-load state is returned to a normal load state, however, the switch 10 is closed, and the output from the inverter 8 is brought to a rated output.
